kinda hard to follow....but I think the black kid that shoots Danny at the end is the younger brother of the Black guy that Derek kills at the beginning when the black guy is stealing his father's car or whatever...& that's a connection that I don't think the whole audience could make right off the bat...& the movie's storyline FOLLOWS the concept of the Paper that's assigned to Danny by the black teacher or Principal or whatever position he was in when Danny went through the school.

@IMaDEM0N I didn't find it hard to follow at all and im pretty sure the black kid at the beginning kills danny for two reasons, 1 because he and danny had a beef at the beginning of the film and two it was prove himself to the gang he hung out with (as evidenced in the 3rd scene not counting the forshadow scene at the beginning) which is a reoccurring motif in the film. It is never evidenced that the black kid is the younger brother of the carjack although that would have made more sense.
