there are loads of different types of jumps on my local track...and i know there are LOADS of jumping techniques to jump, but what works best for long distances....eg a table top..?

pin it and dont let off....most people on 85's including me like to bring the front end up because its better to come down on your front wheel than your back if something goes wrong. If your new to motocross just start by going over the jump and each time extending the distance, when you feel comfortable just give it all and go for it

ok listen quit bitchen about wich is better an 85 or a 150r k i have had both the 85 if your on a trck like lorreta lynns then the 150r would probley be better cause you have that extra bottem end power but with the 85 on this track that these kids r on then the 85 would win cause its more wide open so overal the 85 is a faster bike i mean it may not get the hole shot every time but later on it will pass the 150r it also deppends on the rider.

Main reason 4 strokes are replacing the smokers is because companies have pumped everyone's mind full that the 4 stokes are better. Which in turn they are not, they deliver the power alot smoother which makes them very user friendly and easy to ride. Sorry to rain on your parade but put your 250f up against a 250 2t and you will see the outcome. Tell me, if they are so good why do they need an extra 125cc(or double displacement) to compete with the 125 2t?

4 strokes are better for certain things, 4 strokes dont make more overall hp all the time, but what they do is make more power throughout the powerband that is usable. so with 2 exactly the same riders who corner the same the guy on the 4 stroke would be slightly faster because theres more power to use. they need (needed) more cc's because a 2 stroke fires everytime the piston is at the top of the stroke, a 4 stroke only fires every other time it is at the top. i raced both, i prefer 4

tourqe wise, a 150r can smoke an 85, however the 150r only has half a horse power more than an 85 but overall it preforms alot better than 85s.

actually, in the amature ranks, it's 125, 85 and 65 classes all two tsorke only (no 4 strokes) and 250 two strokes vs 250 4 strokes, 450's are open class so are in with the 500 two strokes.

4 strokes aren't going to last long with armatures, where all th money is.
