Yeah, that's awesome. I'm a Kansas archer myself, I shoot a DQ recurve and was just trying this the other day. I never got a clay though, but was very close. I think a traditional bow just doesn't have the arrow speed for me. I had to guess where the clay would be like 2 seconds after I shot.

I don't see how anyone can say this is fake. They show it in slow motion. Don't understand why people put others down so much just cause he is a good shot and can do it, doesn't mean you have to put him down. Like to see some of you try it. I can't do it. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT! Good job man.

@102886100 I can testify it's not fake. I just watched him get verified by Galileo, a tv show in Germany. He proved it in front of their cameras any my eyes. Shot a Robbin Hood shot on the ninth try after that. Great skill.

Doesn't count if you are at full draw when the pigeon is pulled. If you startle a rabbit in the woods, it's not like you were walking through the woods at full draw.

The advantage of a recurve or longbow is that there is not point at which the draw weight lightens. This lets the draw and the release happen in the same smooth motion and allows for more instinctive shooting.

@coyotemutt any shot and hitting a clay pigeon with a bow counts! lets see your video of this. it aint as easy as it looks i do alot of practice with these shots and they are a blast. i have a recurve and it is fun to and more realistic to shooting animals but its still fun
