those were the days when women and cars had charm and style.. 70s and 80s esprits were masterpieces. this short clip alone is better than most action movies today..
chapman sent a man to make sure the that stunt driver pushed the esprit to the limit. the stunt driver tried over and over again until the thest driver shoved him how its done. the camera men filmed it and used it in the film. this is good driving.

-Wow! -the L.Esprit-S1 was the best handling of all Esprits, which unfortunately grew outrageously by 1,100-lbs over the years from the proper original 1977 weight of only 2,350-lbs! However, what i really wanted to bring to your attention is the amusing feat of 007 having changed his suit (& tie) from tan to dark-blue while driving a short distance from the delivery-dock to where he encounters the evil-do'ers. I think RogerMoore was having fun with the director on this one... ~AK
Don't be fooled by this video ! Bond got his car, went to his hotel, got changed, went to Stromberg's laboratory on a boat, got back to his hotel and then took his car for a drive and met those "evil do'ers"
Shit cars don't get any better than the Esprit!!! in it's day when the turbo and good galvanized back bone!! was introduced this car could easily lay waste to a Ferrari 308 at the time 1986!! and out handle the Ferrari too!!! believe me or not i had a 77 Esprit!! i just have to say!! and my older brother too!! that i would never get to drive a car this cool!! i had an 1985 Saab Turbo at the time and LOL!! the Esprit made the Saab look like a fuckin school bus!!!

In Roger Moore's era, there were a lot of fantastic,novel entertainments.

This is really film-making! No CGI! I think one must be careful with CGI, because it can be "too easy", and inventing things that works in film is not that needed.. (clumsy explanation)

-Wow! -the L.Esprit-S1 was the best handling of all Esprits, which unfortunately grew outrageously by 1,100-lbs over the years from the proper original 1977 weight of only 2,350-lbs! However, what i really wanted to bring to your attention is the amusing feat of 007 having changed his suit (& tie) from tan to dark-blue while driving a short distance from the delivery-dock to where he encounters the evil-do'ers. I think RogerMoore was having fun with the director on this one... ~AK

Don't be fooled by this video ! Bond got his car, went to his hotel, got changed, went to Stromberg's laboratory on a boat, got back to his hotel and then took his car for a drive and met those "evil do'ers"

Shit cars don't get any better than the Esprit!!! in it's day when the turbo and good galvanized back bone!! was introduced this car could easily lay waste to a Ferrari 308 at the time 1986!! and out handle the Ferrari too!!! believe me or not i had a 77 Esprit!! i just have to say!! and my older brother too!! that i would never get to drive a car this cool!! i had an 1985 Saab Turbo at the time and LOL!! the Esprit made the Saab look like a fuckin school bus!!!
