This is incredible - combining the N810 which is an AMAZING tablet/UMPC with BG2 which is an equally amazing RPG.

The port works fairly well. We now have sound working.

Engine has been under development for years and still needs some major features (leveling up, for e.g.) lynxlynxlynx is working steadily at it, but the project could use some energetic new talent. If you love D&D and know some python, stop by #gemrb on freenode irc.

Updates on the port to the tablets are in internettablettalk gaming forums.

You need 640x480 and linux to run Gemrb. I just hope it keeps making progress. There are some major things missing, like leveling-up.

Latest gemrb release 3.0 fixes many player-getting-stuck problems, and the sorceror/mage creation bug. join #gemrb on freenode irc chat to get the latest.

Sound fixed - i had built a replacement for osso libasound2 which was incompatible with gemrb's openal. Reinstalling the default solved it.
