If you were a dancer you would have to get flexible by gymnastics so stop saying its easy. its not. I'm a level 9 and broke a rib or 2 by hitting them on the low bar. that would've not have happened if gymnastics was easy huh?

I've dancing for 11 years now, and I've also done gymnastics. None are easy, the turns and spotting is probably a lot harder than some of the basics of gymnastics (cartwheels, handstands, fly springs, handsprings, walkovers) but then the apparatuses you use in gymnastics are harder than just doing the things on the floor like in dance

i am a gymnast and I'm going on to dance, I loved gymnastics but It was putting to much pressure on me. Dance moms is a reality tv show people! Abby is actually nice to the girls and the moms just fight for the show! And there is a lot of drama in gymnastics too. I bet dance is hard but I think gymnastics is harder

The thing I guess a lot of people don't see is that A LOT of the top gymnastics (whether its WAG RG or TNT) are just like Abby. I mean when I was with my last coach, I would count the number of kids crying at practice. And I can't count the number of times my coach told me that if I didn't like the way she taught that she'd go through the phone book and help me find another gym. Watch the parkettes documentary and then tell me if you still think its so much tougher.

Dance is hard, but gymnastics is harder. Dance is a sport and so is gymnastics. Gymnastics is much harder. Dance doesn't take as long to learn as gymnastics does.

@RGEllaYastrebova1 Gymnastics and dance is NOT the same. The pirouettes, leaps, and tricks are completely different. A gymnasts leap is different than a dancers leap. My gymnastics coach told me that. Dance isn't gymnastics and gymnastics isn't dance.

I did gymnastics for 8 years and dance for 10 I picked dance over gym because gymnastic wasn't pushing me enough so I totally agree that dance is harder...and it also depends if you had a hard or easy teacher and the people you have to work with...
