  • @ArchNoob77 I was raised to understand Éirinn go brách to mean that Ireland lives forever in the hearts and minds of its children. Though a child can stray from his mother he will always remember the warm embrace of his mothers arms. With pride I call myself an Irishman and with equal pride I call myself an American. Long live mother Ireland may her beauty never diminish.

  • Greetings from Fayetteville, Ga. U.S.A. I have some dear friends in Dundalk and Galway and I will be back on the Emerald Isle this July 5th to visit them. Thanks for posting this beautiful song. Being a Patrick, one eighth Irish, I have a deep respect for Irish culture and customs. Can't wait to go back on the Hill of Slane again and stand next to St. Patrick's statue and revisit the Cooley Mountains in Co. Louth. Ireland's landscape is so beautiful. Slan agus beannacht leat.

  • @HiilarityFilmz Don't worry Hillary, all the people is not the same.. every one is special.. I'from Venezuela, and the monkey (Chavez) hates America, but every venezuelan person is different; I don't hate anybody who comes from USA, or comes from China, or Comes from Denmark... by the way, I like too the irish culture.

  • far better town than naas

  • haha then why is half your town in time every weekend ? haha

  • better craic in the bridge

  • haha shelbyville ya mean ??

  • "Being from a dysfunctional Irish catholic family and having to live with fair skin, freckles, going red, mental health problems, and alcoholism isn't easy you know."

I hear that. I plan on visiting soon!!!! something in me is longing to get there. so who has a room???

  • hahaha what are ya like ?? haha

  • That is the best thing I have read today !

I am English but had an Irish Grandfather and my Dad was called Paddy. I am a huge Irish music fan. What you have said is so humorous, really good ! ! !

    Norfolk female 59

  • I have Irish heritage but not enough to be significant. I suppose that's why I love Irish music. It's literally a small part of me.

  • My Grandfather was Irish, though I never met him, but Dad was always called Paddy as a nickname all his life. I love Irish music too.

    Norfolk UK

    (female 59)

  • i love the irish music was brought up on it. my late father was from mayo also my late mother was from a place called glan but i hated when they called him a paddy i took that as a skit an so did he .god bless you xx

  • I love it too, and there's no need to be rude to people, anything Irish is alright with me !

  • in newbridge we call nass a "kip"

  • thats proably because your uneducated..

  • man your a joke, uneducated ha. since when was naas on the leaving cert? ha ya muppet. well no its simply because in reecent years there has been quite a rivalry between the two towns of naas and newbridge, and we simply call it a kip because 1. its funny to do so 2. its true 3. people like you get upset and cry, use your tears as lubricant and cudle into your cock shaped pillow at night. btw your from naas yet your the one on the video with newbridge in the title. ktnxbai

  • i am here because im a huge fan of traditional music. And what do you mean naas on the leaving cert ?? And in fairness, all ye have is whitewater but thats shite too.

  • as in you called me uneducated because i called naas a kip implying i actually dont no anything about naas and im sayin well its too unimportant to no about it aka since when was it on the leaving cert :P but yeh im done with this now cya :)

  • haha good luck chief. i might run into you in time in naas some night hahahaha

  • hahaha rivalry me bollox ,sick of batein them fairys

  • This Song Should Be In The Irish Music Charts, the best Lyrics ive heard in Years, in the same Catergory as Streets Of New York, Boston Rose and Sweet 16. Unrea, makes u proud to be Irish and from Kildare

  • well said chicken

and you should be in the charts too

  • I wish i was Irish so i could say "I'm Irish".

  • im part irish my heritage is awesome yay ireland it rules

  • 100%percent irish myself

  • Yay! Same here!

  • één land met verschillende geloven is toch mogelijk! Prachtig land, lieve mensen, goede muziek. Mensen geloof in elkaar!!

  • I love it :)

  • 50% north Irish and 50% south Irish. :) I'd love to see a united Ireland, but I'd also like to see a sustained peace. What the U.K. did (and is doing) was/ is wrong, but it's more complicated than most people would suspect.

  • The north will be free

  • whats that got to do with this song salem61 ..???

  • Catholic!!!! that the "other" one you were talkin about ; )

  • Congrats new brother, welcome to the Irish family. as Sobr said hope you join the brave and fight for Irelands freedom. :)

  • im from newbridge in county kildare ,i often seen this band playin they are fuckin brilliant ,up newbridge .... co kildare

  • sorry but i don't know a lot yet about irish history. Do you mean the fight to seceed from Britain?

  • no man. i believe if ireland was to speak of any fight it would be between the north and south ireland. they had a civil war for 30 sometihng years until the late 90's. the protests against the christians i believe.

north was protestant based, south was the other(not sure of the other).

  • thats nt it. the irish are fightin to have a united ireland as the north is under british rule. the majority of peolple in the north are irish nationilists and the others are unionists. unionists claim that the north is british as in uk cos they wer brought over 100s years ago from britain by cromwell an english cunt who tried to take over ireland. the fightin is between the irish republicans(IRA) fightin for irish freedom and the british-mostly england though.

  • England occupied Ireland is what I call the North. What's St Patrick's day without English bashing..

  • Catholic

  • hello my irish beauties :D 2nd generation irish american. im from vegas but my heart is in ireland. i cant even explain it.. much love!! hope to get there someday and drink a locals pint!!!
