  • I have done all the steps you have detailed, but I see no videos in the STREAM file. I do see them and can view them on my Vixia. Any ideas ? Yes I did download them to the IMage mixer and they are sick looking. When I view them on the camcorder screen they are clear as a bell. Any ideas on why I am not seeing them in the STREAM folder ?......THANKS

  • That was great. But what's the next step? What's the easiest way to save the Full quality HD video to a DVD? Do I have to buy a Blue Ray Burne?

    Thanks.

  • This video has really helped me. Thank You!!!

  • Hey Could you please make a video about how to render it in Sony Vegas so it gets the full 1920x1080?

  • thanks for the help. image mixer is poop

  • @MrFun17 No problem dude glad I could help.

  • When you say editing program, are you talking about the imageMixer 3 SE Player that comes with the camera? is it possible to create a file (video) in my computer from a .mts taken from the camera but convert it to a more known extension, like .wmn, .avi, etc? I'm asking this because I'd like to send these videos to family in pen drives or other storage devices and they will be able to view the videos. Or record them on a DVD to be watched on any DVD player.

  • my computer or image mixer software is not seeing my camcorder connected to the computer. My software doesn't even allow me to click on 'save files to PC' or the other two option below that one. any advice? I see no k or canon drive.

  • @Golfer4God In this entire video I try not to use image mixer. Make sure that your camcorder(Canon Vixia HF20) is hooked up with the usb cable and hooked up so that its charging. When the camcorder is turned on press the camera/play button just below the screen, should be the farthest on the right, view your manual if needed and it should show a screen asking for usb hook up or printing. choose the usb button and it should connect to your computer.

  • Make sure you like it so it gets more popular and so its easier to find for people. Apparently not very many people know about this.

  • Aye thanks alot. I've been looking for 2 hours and this just made my day.

  • @Get10net Glad I could help.

  • THANKYOU from Lynchy8888 :)

  • @lynchy8888 lol that was you? Glad I could help you out.

  • @AtomicFlame53 yeah lol but vegas for me doesnt accept files i have to render em out in after effects first >.>

  • I followed you all the way until the end. It appears that you take these large MTS files off the camera and plop them on your desktop. Then you you place them into Vegas. Problem is dont have Vegas having burned through my trial. I now have a trial of Camtasia. Camtasia does not take MTS files. I still need to know how to convert these massive MTS files. Is vegas the onlt editing program that takes MTS? I hat to par the $500. Thanks

  • @arcitejack I made a video on How To Change Multiple Video File Extensions that I want you to see. Try changing the file extension to something you know Camtasia will except and see if it excepts the interpreted .mts file. If all else fails try going to zamzar(dot)com-(dot) means( . )

  • @AtomicFlame53 zamzar is an online file converter.

  • Dude, next time you do this, make sure WE CAN HERE YOU. I can hear your mouse clicks 5 times better than you voice. Otherwise it is a good tutorial.

    Thanks
