Oh wahhhh! This woman already HAS TWO KIDS! She had C-Sections, and the insurance company RIGHTFULLY denied paying for a 3rd. Because, "once a C-Section, ALWAYS a C-Section." She should get FIXED already! These baby booming fertility banks need to QUIT BREEDING and contributing to OVERPOPULATION! If everybody would be satisfied with no more than TWO KIDS, we may not HAVE these major WORLDWIDE issues!
@recyclecongress There is NO SUCH THING as OVERPOPULATION. There is such thing as elite bankers wanting to reduce the population so that we are easier to control. IT IS A HUMAN RIGHT TO REPRODUCE. Did you know that there are free energy technologies available that would END world hunger & would allow all people to live they lives happily? These technologies are suppressed because they are FREE & all the big corporations would not make all their money profiting from HUMAN MISERY.
senseimelia, we are not going to pay for you fuck-ups anymore. The gravy train has left the station. What will you do now? Get on your back Shamu. Maybe somebody will pay you for that.
Insures own republicans just like lawyers own democrats. That's why they fight TORT reform. The are all owned by coporations besides the freshmen and the few good men and women that are in Congress, i.e. Ron Paul.
st4ticblu3: Trial lawyers are on the side of victims so it makes sense the Dems support them. Health ins lobbyists are against the victims so naturally the support Repubes.
Ron Paul is VERY anti-consumer, so I don't know how he would help in this or any case. He would eliminate virtually all consumer protections we won.
BINGO! That the first time I've seen someone say that and it's absolutely true ... I was just thinking the same thing. Individual rights should not be the same as an individual. Bravo for that!
Why is the idea of sterilization so bad? You should be required to have a license to even have a kid. I'm tired of seeing fuck ups raise more fuck ups.
@duhCider Let me guess.... you're one of those mental Liberals! Nothing wrong with Capitalism and GUNS.... they were 'once' considered "Constitutional RIGHTS." But now.... suddenly since the Obamasiah took office.... we're turning COMMUNIST. I'm sure you Libs will LOVE losing your freedoms!
If what this video says is really true, that a woman was told to get steralized to get insurance, she should have won a 50 million dollar lawsuit against them by now. Did she ? Is this real ????
I dont think thats how the law works, tho....also its rather expensive to mount a lawsuit against a company with a team of lawyers, virtually unlimited funding, and most likely a Mandatory Arbitration clause somewhere in her contract (or worse)... speaking of which is what we need to go after next is mandatory arbitrtation clauses.
aappundit: The point is can you make your own decisions about your life at the ballot box or do you need some nanny insurance company CEO making your decisions for you, and coming between you and your doctor. I say voters know what's best for them.
Why don't people understand that TORT reform will solve ALL problems, and the current system is the most perfect one in the world to give choice and freedom to the people?
Oh I know. Because that's a load of crock! Medicare for all NOW.
I know the point of tort reform and it's definitely worth looking in to and reform to some extent. Why I brought it up was because that seems to be the only thing Republicans have brought into the "debate".
It's great that they bring up the question of tort reform, but they've blown it up to be the biggest issue, and it's the only issue they actually mention without bringing in scare-tactics like "death-panels".
Myschly: Yuppers. We (or they) passed "tort reform" in 2003 in Texas. The wingers promised a 10% reduction in insurance rates. What happened? Rates went UP, of course. Any savings were kept by the insurers, which was the plan all along.
You simply can't trust right-wing insurance CEOs or their enablers in govt. Wake up, people!
Very interesting. Well it's obvious that the Republicans only quote theoretical numbers when that's the reality. I'm actually surprised that the Corporatists (blue dogs) haven't been pushing for tort reform themselves.
Yepp... It's insane how they can make such huge profits, with those CEO salaries + bonuses, and all the money for lobbying, and people think that the insurance companies actually care about our health, and that senators like Max Baucus don't vote according to campaign money.

Corporations should have never been given the same rights as individuals.

Isn't unfettered capitalism fun?
Conservatives. They won't raise your taxes or take your guns, but good luck with your job, mortgage and healthcare.

This is a bogus story - just like every other sob story rolled out by Obummer. Can't they tell the truth...just once?
