i got a slight fear of rats myself... its really a matter of disgust, cause the things carry diseases, you know... namely the bubonic plague, which, if i remember correctly, had killed nearly 200 million people... side-note: fear of rats/ musophobia

Well, I really liked this film. I loved Rats (2003 version) but this one is more realistic. Vincent Spano, Mädchen Amick, Shawn Michael Howard and especially Daveigh Chase did a great job. They should have made a sequel because the ending was "open"

Always loved this movie as a kid (I used to live right next to a video rental store. Would rent it CONSTANTLY and obsessively). I find rats and mice adorable, so it never scared me (I always wanted a pet rat or mouse...Except, I own three cats and a chihuahua, so, not exactly an option).

in finland they don't even sell rats if they will be alone. when we bought rats, we tought we buy 2 of them, but the pet shop had only 3 so they had to sell all of them. and we did buy all 3.
