  • While it is scary (and kind of odd since I thought psychologists are liberals on average?) that psychs were involved with Bush, on THIS particular matter, I could care less. They were THUGS, al Qaeda terrorist criminals. Who GIVES A FUCK??

Of course, someone's gonna say, "Well, what about the innocents who are accidentally captured?" Well, that's why I'd make absolutely sure they were guilty before using any techniques to extract info. But the vast majority are terrorists, no doubt.

  • You hit the one of the most important issues -- that of the guilt of the suspects. The interrogation techniques were part of US policy which did not ensure the protection of innocents. Many of the suspects were simply turned in by people who were looking for a payoff. That is simply not good enough evidence of a person's guilt under our laws. Also, the psychological and intelligence communities overwhelmingly hold that torture does not give us truthful information. Cheney still argues for it.

  • my heroine!!!i wanna be like her when i grow up!
