i went to a gunshow in tampa, they had pictures of obama saying "he's coming, you'd better hurry up and get yours!" some justified the price raise by telling people "he's going to take away your guns". straight bullshit, u r just greedy!
If you go to a gun store you'll pay a ton more. The place near where I live is robbing folks. $35.99 a brick for .22. Unfuckinbelievable. $20 for the cheapest box of 9mm 115 grn FMJ. $22.99 for .40 S&W 180 gr FMJ. That's blazer aluminum too!!!! Rotten cocksuckers, laughing all the way to the bank. I boycott the gun dealers, they're not screwin me out of my hard earned money. It's almost like they probably all voted foe Obama to help them out. Nothing has changed, we're fucking ourself.
Gun dealers are fucking the public, they don't have to jack up the price. There is no shortage, it's just not on the shelf cuz the guy in front of you bought way more than he needed. And then you do the same. I don't even go to gun dealers, I buy (only what I need) at wal-mart, their prices haven't changed but just a little bit. 550 pack federal 22- $15.47. Federal .40S&W- $13.97. Winchester 9mm 100 rnd pack- $20.97. Almost always in stock too. .22, .25, .32, all the way to .44 mag.
It's criminal how expensive ammunition is. Hopefully when we get over with this war and ammunition companies can stop sending their ammo overseas then hopefully it will drop some. At the rate it's going at it's more expensive to buy the bullets than the gun.
My dad just bought a 380 a week ago. The guy at the counter says good luck finding ammo for it. He wasnt kidding. My dad ended up buyin reloaded ammo from a guy in Oregon. hundred rounds for sixty bucks. 9 mm is the same. Cabelas, Gander Mountain, Bass Pro, all dry! Everyone is scavenging the stuff buyin it out of stock everywhere, even online. So good luck finding any at all real soon
.22 cal is the way to go for target shooting, reloading is also a great cost cutter and you get to shoot the caliber you choose. Pinkrifle gun rights radio
i've noticed a "shortage" in my area of rimfires, i havent been able to find the big 550 round boxes in at least a month, not that stores have been out of stock, they just dont seem to stock them anymore....so even shooting rimfires is getting tricky.
Even my county CO-OP owner says she's having a hard time getting the bigger boxes of .22LR and is only able to get the smaller boxes of the more expensive shit.
Maybe it will be like gas prices, and go back down in a year or so.
i just found a bunch at a walmart today for $13 a box. i only got 2 of them, probably shouldve gotten 3. i went to 2 other walmarts and a sporting goods store and they didnt have any .22 bricks left.
