Very wise words and great to listen to someone who "gets it"! Great that you share this with people who need to hear how forgiveness cleanses us and makes us free. To hold onto things is to only hurt oneself. Love & Peace
God Bless you Doll. Great video. It took me awhile to watch it because the title reminded me that I needed to do some work on myself, but in the end it helped to listen, so Thank You!
A man's peccancy and transgressions should always be atoned for.
My credo is inextricably ensconced in the principles of Penance and reprisal.
Munifiscence and Magnanimity should be reciprocity only for those deserving - who've proven salutary - not for those whose malum in-se and with the very insouciance with which they effectuate them have proven indubitably pernicious to my well being.
You can have all the forgiveness you want. I'm of African decent and prescribe to what a majority of my ancestors prescribe too not a western white or Asian world view. I believe in forgiveness but without atonement and justice. Its just hollow without substance. Africans believed in make things right with justice and atonement. Not this Christian crap where you get your justice and atonement after you die and go to heaven for believing in Christ not matter how much damage you've done to people.
While your message on forgiveness is nice, you need to stop talking down your own people and speaking of certain men as being "unworthy" of you. You can't be truly forgiving unless you love people. I feel you are coming up short in the loving department. All the best to you in any case.
This was a wonderful piece to listen to, and you're absolutely right.
Sometimes I wonder which IS "worse" - being a victim 100%, or having your actions to blame for your seemingly indelible suffering. I've been on both sides of the fence. On the one hand, if you're the victim the crime seems arbitrary - however, you may take solace in that you are innocent. On the other, if you're the "criminal", you have to live with the despicable feeling, too. It's complicated. But either way - you're correct
Personally, I would not want to live in a world where everything was perfect + I was always happy. What can 1 gain from that? I, 2 m familiar w/some of the things u have been thru Sister. The attitude u have 2wards 4giveness is the healthiest way to go. God's blessings to u.
