I know this is a lil late but I give the quality a 6 mabey a 7 the sound is nice aswell but not perfect but hey the flip went down in price and is pretty damn good I got it for x mass

Very nice, I got the ultrahd, and later decided to invest in an underwater case, it is a blast to record stuff in the ocean, I like to put in narratives from the discovery channel, lol

I LOVE AND MISS MY FLIP. I am trying to get it repaired, BUT FLIP support is BLOWING ME OFF. I am a huge fan, and been recommending these to everyone I know that travels. But regardless, still being blown off by their support. Loyal customers/advocates, pshhh dont need em. I am more than happy to share the chat logs with any interested, but the short is, I have cracked LCD screen in back and nearly 2/3 of it is black as a result. THEY DON'T CARE & NO OPTIONS to get it repaired. RIDICULOUS!

One Refurbished, works GREAT!

The other Brand New and after 3 Months of Shooting to it's Full Capacity it won't turn on any more!!

Contacted Pure Digital Tech Support, am waiting the 72 Hour No Battery Capacitor Drain Time in hopes that it will Power Up again ;-{

i have this camcorder!!!!! just bought it. i live in canada and got it for 128 with tax and that was at future shop. they took off 50 dollars cuase wal mart had it for 126 and they beat the price by 10%

the flip video sucks. why get that when you can get something much better for even less. the software that it comes with can be handy, but 150 bucks is not worth it.

I cannot believe how well this little cam does in low light. Grainy in...but other small cams would not generate much of a picture at all. It even does better in low light than my other more spendy Vidcam. I think the Flips are overpriced though, I would not pay the mentioned "$180.00" for a 60 min. I paid $120 at WalMart 'on sale' and only that because I'll use it alot. No better 'cheap' vid cam to carry on person or in car for those times you have to get video NOW; without setting it up.

My new Ultra(60 min)has that same "red button" issue, as it is not always as simple to record as just pushing it. It has to be pushed down for about a half a second. Obviously not a big thing AT ALL, I just need to make sure I push the button good and for a half a second or it won't record. Kids might have an issue with that or somebody with a natural light touch(?).

The red(record/stop)button on mine is not as easy as one might think it should be...but not enough(yet, but it is new, so I wonder)for me to return it. Great thing about walmart is that I have 30 or 60 days to return it, if it turns out to be a bigger problem.

I just got one after watching reviews, and I can't get across how user friedly it is. The speed at which you can shoot, review, and dump footage on the move is great. Its also great in low light, and the sound is better than most £300 camcorders

What's the difference between the 1GB and the 2GB? Don't they both only record 60 mins? Why have the extra GB if they can't record longer? I know the resolution is the same...
