I tried looking on Amazon.com, in search of purchasing this television series. For Amazon can be a good place to buy, hard-to-find items. Unfortunately, at this writing, Amazon.com says this series is "currently unavailable", which is too bad, as really was good to watch.

In an age when 'Talk Radio' is more popular than ever and everyone wants to and believe they have a right to air their views - I do not understand why Midnight Caller is not being aired.

The social and moral dilemmas that are tackled by the show is nothing new but each show usually prompts me to questions my beliefs.

Thanks, Boswell69, for posting this theme song, as I absolutely love listening to it. Like so many others here, I never thought I would find this theme song. Amazon.com does not have any of the Midnight Caller series out on DVD-yet.  So listening to the theme song here is the next best thing:-)

I really miss the 70's audio equipment. Nice back lit slide rule displays, real analog meters. get something like this playing through a set of REAL SPEAKERS, turn down the lights, commit a little herbicide-oofdah!!!

@usm7j Sounds like you need an amplifier from McIntosh. They have analogue meters and all that. Unfortunately they're in a high price range. But I'm sure this tune would sound awesome on one :)

I saw Gary Cole on The Good Wife the other night and he still looks good...dodgy moustache though..but it made me remember this brilliant show with its fab theme tune....and of course it's here on Youtube...brilliant!! x

I used to watch this show in the early 90's when I was about 14 and loved it. I would love to get the box set, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere especially on region 2. That it one box set I would watch from beginning to end. Why can't it be repeated.

when I heard this song I was a child and I saw the program with my mother at ten in the night, always feel a strange sensation of loneliness, but after, when the program started, I got involved in the plot.

I used to stay up late to watch Midnight Caller even on school nights. The theme song created part of the haunting and dreamy sense to the show for me. I loved this series and was sadden by and wondered why it just stopped all of a sudden. One of my favorite shows on TV since childhood. Thank you for posting this song.
