Here's a myth I've always wanted to see put to the test. In all of the Indiana Jones films, Indy uses his whip as sort of a grappling hook. Whenever he swings it over a ledge, it always hooks around and allows him to swing across. Would a whip thats wrapped around a ledge stay in place and still be able to hold him up without coming undone? I need to know.
