  • I could sit playing for hours if i had one of those :P

  • nice!!

  • Just found one of these in my stepdad's parents' toy closet upstairs.

Plan on bringing it home to attempt a bend. Can't wait. This is the first TI toy I've ever gotten my hands on, so needless to say, I'm excited.

  • Hi Poopr,

Better brace yourself for a disappointment..

It is one of the most difficult things to get any good bends from.. I would recommend a S&S to start off for a TI toy, but good luck anyway ;-)

  • everything after 3:00 blew my mind. HARD. especially from 3- 3:20

    I am jealous

  • i love the craftmenship that has gon into this and even the bends how long did it take you to compleate this

  • cool stuff

  • is ther a way to loop what you record on this.

  • amazing. absolutely amazing.

  • thats cool man, will you make one for me?

  • how much, did u pay for this?

  • Nothing! I built it, it just cost me in time and effort!

  • Getting great sounds out of it. Looks like it took a lot of work to make this one.

  • so you basically rewired it so the keys trigger the noises

  • Yep, plus some pitch shifting and sound mangling buttons :-)

The original Speak & Music had a totally useless membrane keyboard thing..

  • where did you find the pitch shift I can't find it.

  • is there a way to make what you record into a loop.

  • loop pedal!

  • great i have a grillo fonillo

    :)

  • i dont understand. i love it

  • Wow, that's epic. I love it when people really bend the crap out of their devices. Sweet recase too.

  • That little 4 note tune that is played when you shift modes is used in the Julien-K song "Technical Difficulties".

  • Hi there,

I've also heard it on a couple of Erasure tracks :-)

  • Hmmm. I'm not a big Erasure fan but that is cool. I just remembered the Julien-K song because it was used in the Transformers movie that is out now. Cool project you have there.

  • Wow - I'm really blown away. That toy is incredibly hard to bend, let alone that amazing rehousing. If you have any board scans or general advice on this toy, I'd love to hear it. Amazing work.

  • Hi Carpeteria, Drop me an email at the address on the end of the video clip.

I can let you have the wiring diagram for the membrane, plus a few other bits.

    Cheers,

    Oceanus
