I have noticed that there are several posts regarding the holding of hands in this video, it is this type of silly bullshit that is killing us as a people, we NEED human contact to grow, it teaches trust and t teaches us that its ok to feel a non-sexual connection with another person. If this freaks you out and you think its childish or "kindergarten" the keep your ass in the city and we will keep doing it this way and loving our lives in our communities where touch is the same as breathing.....
@MrRyanGraham Seen the show call the Colony? We are starting our own colony in Santa Barbara CA, we need mechanical-computer-structural engineers, and a doctor to join. For only $5k you get 1/2 acre of your own to get away, close to town, with water on 100 acres surrounded by BLM land hunting and faming. We also need Mechanics architect, nurses builders handymen, beautiful women, scientist horticulturists farmers musician, people with resources welder natural healers NO BANKERS OR HOLDING HANDS
I hope the Dancing Rabbit folks are not members of the climate-cult that I've been reading about. The cult survives the lack of scientific data because it has been fueled by self-serving politicians like Al Gore. I was just reading an article on nypost [dot] com about the climate cult. It's sick.
They're not, because this ecovillage is concerned with sustainability in general and not just with climate change. They harvest they're own rainwater and eat locally, as well as create community security and fearlessness. At the heart I think it's neo-tribalism here, that there exists no one right way for people to live.
I recently visited and it's just a small tradition they have before every co-op dinner. Nothing cultist or creepy about it. Just fellowship and song. Sometimes they sing row, row, row your boat!
You can make up your own reasons for holding hands, but for me I like it for the simple human contact that is so necessary for a sound existence. Many different cultures and traditions hold hands before meals or prayers or events.
haha, yeah, uhm, I had the exact same reaction "Oh, wow, this seems awesome, I'd love to live somewhere like- oh, oh.. singing. Yeah. That's a bit culty."
@TheDudeRulez09 thats a bit mean! I would have thought that if you were so understanding and enlightened to your emotions and those of others that you wouldn't be so critical of the opinions of others? Perhaps hypocrites exist in all walks of life?!
Well I liked the singing, intentional living takes ritual to sustain it and these folks look like they are really doing something!

@cycomerlin14
Singing is fine, but why do they have to hold hands like a bunch of kindergartners?
