i remember being in the army 5 years ago. 20 years old, depressed as hell, almost ready to kill myself. when i got off duty in the evenings i would go running for 10km every other day - everyone thought i was crazy and they were probably right. at the point that was farthest from the crammed and martial way of live in the barracks - WAY out in a wide open field, i would put on songs like this and feel a wonderful liberating loneliness. luckily, everything but the music changed.
