They do show off. The lousy photos set for Harper's Bazaar is a big show. I know many fans who enjoy his music and lyrics and they were turned off by this. I thought it was stupid. There are couples with long term marriage who still love each other and they don't have to prove anything. When you want to prove something... I don't think people are jealous. They like his songs and they are bothered by this pretend "soul mate love". I used to like his first wife. I saw recent pictures of her, she looks like an interesting and genuine woman. His second wife (who was the "best friend" of the first one) looks fake. She does look fake. I never understood why he left his first wife for this one. I still enjoy his songs but I don't buy the happy couple story and this isn't jealousy.

Classic story of the supposed "good friend." Also the fact that Trudie fired their pregnant cook (she sued & won) dim my opinion of Styler tremendously.

Sometimes things just do not work out in a marriage, whichin my opinion is a sanctuary that brings both people completion -- stability and happiness, where you grow together, not apart. Obviously, for whatever reason, this was not the case between Sting and his 1st wife, and he found such happiness and true love with another woman, which was obviously meant to be, as they have been together for 26 years and are still going strong. I cannot judge him for that; otherwise, I'd be a hypocrite.

a friend of mine was able to meet Sting this week, and he could not have been more of a gentleman. and Trudie was equally as pleasent. My friend is a teacher like sting was, and he said to her how much he admired a person in the prfession in the face of so many challenges.

Do a little research & you'll find you're quite wrong about Trudie "having no existance away from him." She is a Director, runs her own business, is the mother to his 5 (i think) children and obviously went in to the relationship knowing he'd be away for months at a time while on tour. She has plenty to keep herself occupied while her husband is away. Perhaps one of the reasons they've managed to stay happy together for so long is due to the ol' adage "absence makes the heart grow fonder"...?
