  • I do 50 sit ups a day...cause I just got in my mind to havwe women abs....how long does it take me to have the abs?? o.o

  • @Kiki161294 you also need to incorporate cardio into trying to lose belly fat and get abs.

  • For some reason whenever I do sit ups I cant fully rise up can someone tell me why

  • @percydemigod Are you 500 pounds?

  • My tailbone hurts eachtime i try to do it, but i still somehow do atleast 100-200, is it bad that i do it while it still hurts?

  • @RuneKingdomlion yes, it about quality not quantity you want to have a straight back. that way you get more abs and less sit ups...

  • I cant do a sit up by myself because you need balance which i dont have

  • @werwer607 sorry

  • He wears Nike free's

  • >.< my tail bone hurts like a mofo during sit ups

    any1 knw y

  • @itachi4719 use somethign soft to lay on....

  • @animeandgamefan o dat mus suk a bit lol

  • do you keep your back straight?

  • i go all the way up to my knees, is this a bad way to do it?

  • I use to do these great in middle school during warm ups in pe, but the I started getting lazy and fat lol

  • hey i have 143 pounds and im 6.1 feet and i am doing 100 - 150 abdominal crunches,200 -300 sit-ups, every morning i go waling/running for 30 min, every evening running/walking for 30 min and in the day i ride my bicycle and jump rope 20 min twice per day. I want to know how fast can i get abs and how fast can i loose stomach fat by doing this every day

  • @TheSvinja You shouldn't do these exercises everyday, you need a rest day for your body so as to not injur yourself and for the exercises to take full affect. Do these exercises every 2nd day and if what your doing is true, you'll get a toned stomach in no time, just eat healthy and drink plenty of water.

  • @TheXboxNutjob

yeah but now i have a new routine : im doing ab routines every other day and doing cardio every day + rope jumping. Is this better then that before ?

  • @TheSvinja Yep, sounds good. That is what I am doing aswell, just started it but not doing the skipping, aggravates my osgood schlatter :-/

  • what happens if u do to much sit ups a day im a beginner i want to know i do about 100 a day in just one sit down then i wont do it till the next day my diet is good light meals with alot of protein and low fat

  • Hi Les!

  • my back clicks when i' going down, is this normal?

  • @Clowsie95 I'm having the same problem.

  • @Clowsie95 Same, but it was strange, I could do sit ups perfectly, now I can't, my back always clicks :/

  • @Clowsie95 if your back is clicking it means your position is not right, check if your legs are too close or too wide apart, or if you are slightly leaning to the left or right, you could also have too much pressure caused by doing it too fast and too much, or too slow, make sure to warm up first as it takes alot of energy, also your chin may be digging in to you, last of all it may be age, talk to your fitness expert and your doctor for more details.

  • @SuperWingedwolf Okay, i'll try it diffrently thank you

  • I have started doing some workouts for my abs. I play football and run everyday. But do i really need to run between the ab workout or could i just do the situps and the exercises before i go to bed?

  • @MrThumbsupp talk to your local fitness expert, they are the proffesinals.

  • It dosen't work i only can reach near my knee only which is pretty bad. :(

  • finally a sit-up technique that doesn't cause havoc to your back!!!

  • after doing like 100 sit ups my neck starts to get relly sore because im tensing it when i go up is this normal?

  • @TheSkipskittles If you just started doing sit ups, you shouldnt be doing 100, as it is too much. You should be doing 3-5 sets of 15-20 sit ups per day at different periods. And this comes from a pro.

  • When doing a sit up, does it help to do it on a bed .?

  • @Styliztik12345 lol if ur bed is really firm maybe

  • its okey to do 500 situps in one day?! when being 13 years old? xD because i did it haha

  • @grymmatarmar Do them slower?

  • thank you very much, quite helpful :)

  • Question1:

How much should the average person be able to do without any kind of break

    Question2:

When I put my feet under something I feel like I'm lifting my feet up to do the sit-up, is this normal? If not, will it affect anything?

  • i can do over 1500 and im 8

  • @BigAngryNick sure......

  • It helps alot I'm going into the air force and thice is good stuff

  • yeap im a dumm***

if i didnt sit around all summer i would have em showing,i have tooo much belly fat,got get rid of it with some running according to the pro

  • Hello, i have..well not strong abs but not weak eather but i just cant seem to do more than like 2 crunches or situps without having my feets under something.

I dont know why, before i could do like 70.

  • @Sofiiejj I did like 400-500 when i was 11, but i figured out that i were doing it the wrong way... Now i'm 13 and can only do like 150 if I push myself to the limit.

  • @The99Woodcutter lol im 16 about 130 punds and i can pull off 20...lol

  • @Hawtpocket22

  • @dragcutter Just continue to do as many as you can each day. Eventually you will begin to do more. When I started, I could only do 20 push ups. Now I do 3 sets of 50 each day. Just keep at it.

  • 0:10 LOL @ The people in the back.

    Good video too. :)

  • @BydaWayAce looooooool

  • When doing sit ups, I have great pain on my tail bone. Is this normal when just beginning?

  • try using a small pillow under tail bone, i got same problem.

  • @AmazeNYou put a cushin under your lower back to create a arch in your back. its anybody that get that pain jus cuz its bone on ground

  • @BlessTha40oz oh thanks for the tip. i also had the same problem

  • @AmazeNYou I get the exact same thing everytime i do crunches or sit-ups Did u get any advice?? Are you kinda skinny cos thinks thats why i get it lol

  • @j182mcd yeah im skinny and have a really fast metabolism and the same happens with me

  • @AmazeNYou i used to too, trust me. shit sucked.

  • @Soupman3452 finally i know..i stopped cos of that

  • @AmazeNYou

Yeah, you just get use to it. I use to do around 60 without resting between each sit up. Start slowly with sets of 20 and then just push yourself. It doesn't matter so much the amount of sit-ups per repetition, but rather focus on doing lots of repetitions so that you give your body small breaks but keep working on sit-ups. Feel free to throw in some push-ups and flutter kicks in to work different areas of your body.

  • @bassmega i have just started doin sit ups and i do between 250 and 350 a day is that a good amount and how long till i start seeing results in a 6 pack.and does it matter about what type of diet u are on or does it not make much of a difference?

  • @TheGrenadier91 im no trainer. But i know that you cannot burn fat in specific areas of the body only. Therefor you should do LOTS OF CARDIO along with ab workouts to get those washboards......

  • @AmazeNYou This might be because there is something between you and the ground like a belt or clump of pants. Try wearing shorts and adjusting the position of the waistband so that it is not where it hurts

  • @AmazeNYou try pulling your pants up

  • @AmazeNYou I got that aswell, but I got an exercise mat because I was (foolishly) trying to do them on a laminated floor. Try folding a towel then placing underneath where you get your pain. Should go away. :-)

    ~Olly

  • @AmazeNYou get an exercise mat

  • @AmazeNYou I do my situps on a bed

  • @RichardCheddarable it is actually easier on a bed or sofa etc:; u should do it on a mat or floor or carpet

  • @AmazeNYou sit on a mat, its what i do

  • @AmazeNYou do it on a soft floor

  • @AmazeNYou me too .. i think so

  • @AmazeNYou It's because you have a skinny ass, just use a pillow when doing push-ups

  • good and correct

  • i have a question. is sit up same as crunches??

  • while crunches you dont come that much up. you just move some cm to dont damage your down back and hold than some seconds the position and go back.

but never put your shoulders on the ground while doin crunches or situps.

  • Crunches is more for the upper abs.

  • No. A sit up is sitting all the way up, a crunch is keeping your lower back on the ground, then sitting up partially.

  • Good advice but just a side note this type of sit up does not meet military standards.

  • He didn't claim that they were I don't beleive. Major differences are hands interlocked behind the head, and you have to be completely upright.

  • thanx!

  • I can do 50 situps when someone is holding my ankle, But i cannot do one damn un-assisted situp shown in this video. Any advice?

  • @maniax342002

Put your feet under your bed or if you have 2 heavy dumbells put them on your legs.

  • can u hold your shirt when your arms cross your chest?...

  • sure. if u dont pull yourself up.

  • what area does this work on?

  • abdominal muscles...i think

  • @GuitarFighter309

How do you mean what area?

It works your abs, which part of them...depends on how you do the situps.

These makes most resistance on the lover part of your abs, and ab crunches work your upper abs.
