In my opinion, changing the leading vocals is definitely the same as chaning the whole band 'cause the vocals vary badly from one human to another in comparison to the guitarists, drummers etc, who you can find everywhere. As far as instruments are concerned, as long as you have skilled ppl, who can play really everything, it's only about creativity in the compositions.

well, honestly, this album is better than storm and the fact that they're trying to return to their gothic metal roots is great,yes they are back but i miss the old doom sound with the very low growls from on whom the moon doth shine for example and liv with her modern english lyrics.nevertheless it saddens me to know that we won't be able to see an evolution from here on since they broke up as a band,this sounds very good and raymond's growls are back, not sounding as good as before, but back

I love the new band of TOT. I love what Liv sings now. I think what ever happens in life is suppose to happen is the attitude we have no choice to take. Time will change things that is not of our own control. We have to enjoy what we have in the moment.

I have all the theatre of tragedy albums these two electro albums are also nice albums but not for this kind of music that we are listening to... for electro pop listeners it's ok! In the album storm they tried to find them selves and now with this album I think they are back! and i am happy! I hope nightwish will also give us a new album one day!

I adore her, and I adored Theatre Of Tragedy when she was a member, but now she has her own band and we can love her for her works with this band.

Theatre Of Tragedy has Nell now, which has an incredible voice, she's nice and talentful, and the new materials are great even because of her. Lets appreciate her more =(

@maidenoftheriver hell yeah i can't agree more on the fact that the archaic English they used was the epic-est most atmospheric thing ever. It was an amazing music, totally from another era. (e.g. Aegis is like transfering you to the Greco-Roman world, with all the mysterious customs they had then......) well this new stuff is good too, but......it lacks something.
