that violin is made in the gusetto style, right?

@donesixfour -- well, its not quite a gusetto style violin. the gusetto is know for being cornerless. this violin has carved points that are "corner-like" but not actually corners. they're carved into the body. i've seen alot of violins, but never anything like this. its fully rounded, there are no side bouts at all. its like a clamshell design. really, a very special, one of a kind instrument by a talented american maker circa early 1900s.
