So think about it this way. Kill 150,000 - 200,000 people or should we kill 4,000,000 - 5,000,000 people! Easy answer, pick the lower amount and lets end the war! Jackass!

@fah369 Not really...Insurgents suffered 36 000 casualities while US so far lost 1580 troops in Afghanistan. In Iraq the numbers of dead terrorists are much higher. I won't call that "kicking USA's ass." They kicked no Russian or American ass. Sure the "insurgents" in western countries during WW2 kicked some German ass too by laying in hills and forest and blowing up important German facilities, but that wasn't the reason why Germany LOST. Hitler's mistakes costed them the victory.

Remember Afghanistan is a very "old" country. With tribes controling many disticts and they r used to have Taliban in charge. Then you will have this in our part of world claiming the war in Afghan/Iraq caused the global economic crise which is just arrogant to believe when US alone spend 2.6% each year of their GDP on those conflicts. So yeah, it will be pretty much same as it was in Vietnam. Military success&Strategic failure.
