i dont claim to know everything but computer programs are written to do the job of actual physical modules and hardware. before computer were as powerful we used hardware stuff to do it all, and they are made with transistors and stuff. Although what they created sounds shit, we should not knock those for experimentation otherwise we would never advance as a species.
