Being Mormon/LDS has blessed my life in ways only other members can understand. David Archuleta is a great example to everyone. I'm proud that he is going to be serving a full time mission. It will change him in ways that he doesn't know. Follow him.

I served as full time missionary here in Brazil where I live and today I´m attending another Christian church and I still have the same testemony about the LDS church but we can not imagine that other people who belongs to another church are not adoring the real GOD. I understand you are bearing your testemony when you say that, but you can not close your eyes to the other children of God. Think about it.

I don't believe there is one true religion. There are plenty of great religions that all basically say that being close to God can get us into heaven. I have been to different churches but the one I feel most comfertable in is the church of jesus christ of latter day saints. It doesn't matter what religion you are as long as you are trying to build a relationship with God.

Mormons use the bible as the book of guidance. Mormons know the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. We also use the book of mormon too. But nothing in the book of mormon contradicts the bible. For Mormons the bible comes first for answers.
Our actions will never get us into heaven. It is only through the Grace of God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, that we can get into heaven. It's not about what church you go to, or if you go to any church at all. It's about what's in your heart, and God knows what is there. Your relationship with GOD is much more vital than a relationship with any church denomination will ever be. So, when Mormons come to my house and tell me this is the true church of Christ...I have to call BS on them.

Have you put that relationship to good use yet? You claim that the LDS religion is not the true church of Christ, but have you actually prayed about it? How do you KNOW that the faith is "BS"? It's about your relationship with God. If you attend a church, it should adhere to the same guidelines as are found in the Bible and encouraged through the life of Jesus. I didn't realize David Archuleta was a Mormon. He sounds really great and has an effortless high range. Would someone please correct me on this if I'm wrong...but one of the Mormon beliefs is that if you do well enough in this life you get to become a god of your own planet after you die. Is that true? People who have problems with our church just because they think their church is better should RESPECT our beliefs and don't jump into conclusions. We have different beliefs. If you want to know more about us, read our scriptures first and understand them or let our missionaries teach you. We don't force you but just suggest you so you would stop arguing. We read and love the holy bible and not just that because we have other books. People who are against our church sounds so wicked.
David Archuleta is said to be an active member of our church. So he's not yet a missionary but some people say that he's an unofficial missionary. He's already serving the Lord by using his talent to touch other people's heart with his singing.
Some people say that we LDS or 'Mormons' aren't Christians. They're wrong. Those people probably don't know what's the meaning of 'Christian'. We're Christians because we believe and follow Jesus Christ. And it's sad that many people criticizes our founder. He may have have married many wives but there's a good reason why he did that. And I know he's not a bad person because he restored the church of our savior. I have no complain to what our church teaches us because they're all good for me.

If you want to know more about us, read our scriptures first and understand them or let our missionaries teach you. We don't force you but just suggest you so you would stop arguing. We read and love the holy bible and not just that because we have other books. People who are against our church sounds so wicked.

David Archuleta is said to be an active member of our church. So he's not yet a missionary but some people say that he's an unofficial missionary. He's already serving the Lord by using his talent to touch other people's heart with his singing.

Some people say that we LDS or 'Mormons' aren't Christians. They're wrong. Those people probably don't know what's the meaning of 'Christian'. We're Christians because we believe and follow Jesus Christ. And it's sad that many people criticizes our founder. He may have have married many wives but there's a good reason why he did that. And I know he's not a bad person because he restored the church of our savior. I have no complain to what our church teaches us because they're all good for me.

It is Mormon Leaders who claim Smith did used a seer stone to translate the B of M. Richard Lloyd Anderson (quorum of the 12) and Russel M Nelson (also) before they wrote the respective articles "By the Gift and Power of God" and "A Treasured Testament" for the Ensign in September 1977 and July 1994 respectively.
David Whitmer is the one they quote as saying that he read it out of a hat.

Not because it agrees with God's Word, the Bible. 66 books by 40 authors over 1000 year period, total doctrinal agreement. We as mormons are taught to teach our religion to friends and to anyone who is interested in hearing about the church so please dont hesitate to ask! =)

@lifewithleexxiii There are people who have issues with gayness, but the number is shrinking much faster in the general population than it is in certain religious groups - leading that list would be Pentecostals, Southern Baptists, and Mormons - the former two are just an example of rural ignorance, while the latter is arrogant, self righteous group conformity. One of my best friends is a mormon, and even though he's quite bright, that's how he and all of his mormon friends are.

Ummm... How can't members of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints (mormons) not be Christians... A Christian is someone who believes in Christ... We're monotheistic, we believe that Christ is god's son and we don't worship him, we worship god... The thing that mainly sets us apart is that we believe that the gospel from christ's time has been restored and that gospel was restored by a man named Joseph smith when he was a young boy, we also believe that there are present day prophets

Maybe you may not believe it, but we are all God's children. He loves all of us, EVERY SINGLE ONE. No one person is better than another. ok... well let me try and have you understand this.. God does love us. by giving us trials. we also bring pain to ourselves but because we chose to do the wrong instead of following what he wants for us ( so by not following the commandments). Heavenly Father (god) will never give us a trial we can not pass or handle. So if you have been going through trials its because he knows how strong you are and will be after. he loves you and just wants you to become the actual strong person you could be.

It makes me laugh how people are being so rude to the LDS church. When has the ENTIRE church ever done anything to you? Who is always a first responder to accidents and disasters around the world?
