This was a genuinely funny show and I would have followed it through. Usually when you see one character from a show you already love, you miss the others. But with Jane, it just felt as if she could have carried the whole show by herself.

She's a very talented actress. And I loved this show.

God knows how many great shows we're being deprived of.

That was so funny about the baseball in his pocket, Madelynn! I thought the same thing--LOL! I wondered where he was carrying it! I was sooo touched by this episode, and I never watch TV. I only stumbled upon this clip/episode by looking for Frasier stuff. I have to say that this episode actually made me cry. There are also very few shows that make me truly laugh and it did! One question--why didn't the daughter have even a *slight* British accent?

it was a pretty show-I just love Jane Leeves. I think that if it got picked up for a full season it wouldn't have lasted longer then a year. But maybe-you never know!

I never knew this existed. This is more entertaining than allot of the garbage I see that they air these days. Nothing will replace or come close to capturing the quality of the Frasier days for me but Jane is a great talent who could still contribute allot. It's a shame this never got a shot.
