  • Ohhhh lovely boy!

  • i LOVE the TB-303

  • =) Love it!

  • yeah the shaman knew how to use the 303. very spacytune.

  • Amazing !! Where did the years go ?

  • At the time this was so modern, and refferred to something ancient which we all understood.

  • I got goosebumps all over again!

  • The Shamen + Hardfloor + a 303 = AWESOME MUSIC!

  • This song is ART this is true music, gotta love it !! <3

  • Love these guys

  • =))

  • Probably the one & only Eschatology (catastrophism) hymn... hehe... :)

    Victoria Wilson James

  • brings back f,,,,,,,ing brilliant memories. love it

  • what a tune about 94 i was in the zone then

  • the shamen were the sound of my teenage glory years in the clubs (92-95) - never forget the music.

  • i woz at this gig omg luvved it

  • brilliant video and song-song better than the recorded version, i was looking for this for ages! thanks!!!!

  • love the acid touch :)

  • Milujem shamen! Super sladba! Pripomina mi tatok kapela stredoskolacke casy!Milujeem ju!!!

  • coolies song trully good groovy beat

  • Heh, talking of philosophy it's amazing how a band as great as this, is so quickly forgotten over time. Many young guys 18-21 now, won't even know this existed :[

  • @TheRealD4VID i know it exists im 15

  • Kick Ass! The Shamen were amazing live.

  • So many sounds popular in those days in one song. :)

  • I forgot how good the Shamen were.

  • I've always thought the problem with the Hardloor mix done live is that it was a bit of a mess - Mr C's rap, for example, sounds completely out of place. He's just shouting over the music.

From what I can remember his rap never actually appeared in the CD version of the Hardfloor mix - but it sounds great in the Beatmasters version that was released as a chart single.

  • @unclestoostoo The rap was always the best part of the song, too. I'm pretty well read, and I had to look up four terms from a 10 second rap.

Saw Mr. C by himself a few years back. Great show.

  • @blckclbrtn politics, religion, philosophy....

  • Yes, it's the Hardfloor mix.

  • is this Hardfloor remix?

  • aaahhh this is fucking SICK,... i love it

  • P.L.U.R

  • this geeza was high on e's all the time

  • Just looked, it's the "Shamen Deep Melodic Techno mix" that's the one.

  • There were some really nice versions of this on CD2.

  • I heard this tune and phorever people at glastonbury in 1995, this was the return of the Shamen from a 2 year break. classic tune and many memories.

  • 21.12.2012. End of time. End of the world. The end of Mayan Long Count. The apocalypse. The end of Kali Yuga.

    So basically we`re f***ed.

  • Well Im still going to do my christams shopping anyway, just in case.

  • The Shamen were under rated in my opinion, this reminds me of the mushy season, top tune.

  • magic mushroom time

  • 2011/2012 destination eschaton?

if you didnt know he did drugs and had mystical experiences~

  • ...AciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiD !!!!!!!! great SONG!great TIME!

  • Wheres Colin?

  • kraSS: das klingt mir schwer nach...

    :0)))

    Sehr fortschrittlich für damals ;0)

  • THANK YOU!

I must have been looking for this one for over 10 years. borrowed it from a friend a long time ago, and it's gotten a nostalgic value.

  • the shamen = legends

  • indeed ;)

  • glad to see you agree

  • This is a re-edited version of the Hardfloor Vocal mix, with extra live stuff performed over the top. Trouble is, with manic 303 and vocals at the same time, it sounds like a bit of a mess after that big buildup.

Hardfloor could be pretty boring sometimes, but they got the pace just right with their own edits.

  • Totally agree - I never thought this mix worked...

  • This is the first time i have ever heard this and its fucking awesome.Just been on EBAY to buy it.Love the first 1:25 as its a slow build up before it quickens up.

  • KLF, anyone? ;o)

  • hell yes, maybe with a side order of tammy wynette

  • Destination is grave!!!!

  • 2012 - the start of secher nbiw - the Golden Path?

  • alpha and omega are actually constellations however its assumed planetary systems exist in these places

  • never enough...

  • The backing is actually the HARDFLOOR REMIX of the track & not theirs or the Beatmasters Mix

  • ...and its not the Olympics... LOL

  • T in the Park 1995! WOOOOHAAA!

We were there and the Hardfloor Vocal mix is stupendously fine...

And the message is..just look around people at the changes we are seeing all around us..look forward to 2012 with a positive mind and positive expectations...i dont know whats coming but its not the end of the world its a new beginning for us human types..

  • why 2012?

  • Why not 2012 ? ... the novelty wave is affecting all things ... the solar maximum peaks at 2012 leading to greater global integration ... from the depths of universe the singularity sings itself awake again ... inner and outer space are one , therefore the descent within to the soul is also the ascent without to the attractor prompting this journey ...

  • Funny you mention this...A friend of my mother is a so-called clear voyant woman who has foreseen that the "etherical" and physical part of people integrate together around 2012. Now, I have an open mind, but 2012 is also the end of the Mayan calendar, sort of like the hype of the end of the world at year 2000. We'll just have to wait and see...(I believe right now that nothing will happen, but who know?)

  • its assumed many new things are due in 2012 from technology to the universe

  • hope 2012brings good news for aquarius people!!we are in a mess...lol

  • Richi'E' & Colin miss you guys

  • Excellent !!!! Good sound.

  • Can remmember this song when they played it at T in the Park either 94 or 95 oh my I'm getting old. Where is the fountain of youth? First saw the Shamen in a joint gig with "The Shamen and the Utah Saints wish I could rewind the clock" XXXXX

  • sounds good after all theses year, there were head of there times.

  • this song is about humans one day travelling to alpha centauri to omega constellation destination eschaton could mean either quickly or flawless travel no incidents.

  • These are omega times(the end of an era not of everything)omega times-the mayan calender ends on dec 21st 2012 only as its the end of a significant period of time and the start of a new era the more we raise our conciousness the more we can expect to access a new level of conciousness the start of a golden age

  • from alpha into omega

  • HARDFLOOR REMIX

  • The journey is on : )

  • UFO sightings in the 21st century begin to take place in the rolling hills of Scotland as reported by people walking their jack russell terriers. One particular sighting is within the capital of Scotland above Edinburgh castle. Mi5 & the British press try & hush it up but it's impossible as millions of people don't bother to turn up for their work. Cannabis is made a legal substance thanks to a cave in by the Westminster administration after the public threaten a common uprising. Disinformation?

  • what the hell?

  • haha i had this song on cassette single wen it came out. not heard it in years. thanx for posting it.

  • I got here an to me important question:

Does anyone of you know about rare Vinylalbum by The Shamen from late 80ies to mid 90ies which has some kind of drum within a poppy coloured space on the cover?I listened to it in 1997 within a flat full of rarity vinyls from seventies funk/disco to nineties dance/trance.

I cant remember the title looked for it in their discography and found it nowhere.Would like to know what it could be(maybe from the related act known as "Shaman")?

  • Boss Drum by The Shamen, good album and song.

  • Who was the singer? I think she used to sing with Soul ii Soul but its not Karen Wheeler.

This singer took over from Shanie who went on to sing with Alex Party

  • in mr cs rap when I first heard it really sounds like & to grab your rock. It freaked me out not too!!!LOL!

  • Does anyone have the Destination Eschaton 12' that includes the mix Destination Eschaton Vission Lorimer Acid Mix?
