The tank is clean.

It's not overstocked

who cares if the coral is fake. Keeping corals ain't easy especially if you don't have the right lighting.

So props to having a low-tech aquarium

@PaNdeM0niuM This tank is most certainly over stocked. Almost every fish in that tank will outgrow it easily ALONE! Ridiculous... people need to do more research before trying to keep these delicate and precious animals. Try reefcentral for great info and a huge community of knowledgeable hobbyists and professionals.

Nothing like fake corals from Petco and Petsmart. Haha! have a couple of those myself, but with additional professional artificial corals from living color and aquascapes

depends all have different personalitys but they are definately the most docile of all eel species and they need alot hiding space

if you have a decent size tank i dont see it being an issue just provide lots of caves your eel will be good, but like people animals are all different i got lucky mine is very docile but i've seen some moody ones if you do get get one keep him full and youll be ok i feed him3-4 silversides every other day never had an attack on tank mates

@dominic4108 it should be fine as long as your tanks not small and you provide lots of hiding places (caves, tunnels etc.) and keep him fed i feed mine 3-4 silversides every other day never had an attack on tank mates

Most of those fish will need an upgrade, I am glad you understand that!! You will be a great fish keeper! Just don't keep them in this small tank for too long..you don't want to stunt them! Otherwise, they do look nice :)
