  • Fantastic pinball!

  • i wish Wizard Blocks, Playboy, and Wild Toys made it to pinball 2000. they were planned for it but unreleased. its too bad the unit ended up on only 2 games and then discontinued. now we're stuck with stern pinball who only uses one unit with far outdated early 90s technology and never even started to think about a new unit! an upgrade from the innovative, but discontinued pinball 2000 is way overdue, especially by a new decade! thank God jersey jack pinball is here to do exactly that!

  • That CEO Neil at Williams was a typical corporate suit. Asshole! You ruined pinball just to make a few extra bucks w/ casino slots. May God have your mercy on your soul.

  • Sounds like it's narrated by Ken Nordine.

  • I have witness this masterpiece allong time ago in my country realy cool!

  • "The player will say 'Wow, those other games look old.'"

Um, no. The player will say, "Tales Of The Arabian Nights blows this piece of shit away."

  • Pinball 2000 was a really cool technology, but this video's first two minutes of pretentious hype is one of the lamest pieces of video production that I've seen.

  • @jjjiii2

I agree.. they really play it up like it's going to change our planet as we know it. lol it's just pinball..

  • This game was great. It's a shame Star Wars Ep 1 was extremely rough around the edges, and then we never saw another machine again. Extremely unique pinball experiences for sure. Here on out, kids will never experience a real pinball machine or the electricity of a busy arcade. Ya know, unless you live in Japan where the spirit lives on.

  • It was an interesting concept, take a pinball machine and stick a PC on it. I see it though as a last ditch effort by an industry which already knew it's days where numbered. And now there is only ONE pinball manufacturer in the whole world, Stern Pinball.

I like the game ideas for Revenge from Mars, but thought Star Wars Ep. 1 was rather naff. Mainly because of Jarjar Binks.

  • pinball 2000 is a great idea ! this not kill williams !!! williams was kill for nintendo, psp & sega ! is a big lie ! the pinball company die because the videos are so cheap and funny and longer play not for built this 2 great machine ! is only a excuse ...nobody who created this machine have fault ! pinball dead for the videos ! and for own fault ! nobody teach the boys how to play pinball machines , just buy play station or wii ,

  • they talked a lot of trash. yeah pinball never be the same again becouse you screwed it up. made williams to dead.... if i like to play videogame i dont want it to do in a pinmachine, what is never been virtual like an arcade.

  • Revenge From Mars is fun and the best of the two Pinball 2000 platform games.

Thanks for posting this video up.

  • a phone call just for a software update?

    good old times :D

  • Each to their own. :)

  • You suck. I have 6 pinball machines and I always think they're fun.

  • Pinball 2000 was wildly popular and made a profit. The problem was, Bally could and was making far more profit from slot machines. To say Pinball 2000 wasn't successful isn't accurate. It simply wasn't successful enough.

But then again, how do you make a product that can out earn a slot machine? You can't. Hence why Bally only makes slot machines now.

  • Welcome...to a new age of games.

  • Interesting that they mentioned an Amiga, because this video is very similar to the Video Toaster promos. Same narrator, same look, etc. Thanks for posting!

  • I found the Amiga part interesting, having had an Amiga for a few years myself. Although the completed Pinball2000 ran on a Cyrix MediaGX PC.

  • I remember playing this game. I had no idea what was going on when I first played it, but I loved the graphics. Yeah, there's no ramps, you just have to hit things on the screen. But it was hilarious and I had a lot of fun playing it. Too bad they didnt' make any other programs for this pinball game.

  • They did. Star Wars Episode I was designed by Williams and used the same Hardware as Revenge from Mars. There was also a conversion kit, as described in this video.

  • "Pinball 2000 is here to stay" That nearly made me snort coffee down my nose. "It's like physically interacting with a movie" Um yeah we've been doing that for some time, we call them "video games" As for "Pinball 2000...is the direct result of all of the things that were requested by operations and distribution" well it sure plays like it. Operations and distribution were probably very happy. Pity the players stayed away in droves huh?

  • The arcades are dead.. it wouldnt matter how great the game was. Nobody would ever see it. The lack of innovation plus the popularity of console/PC gaming is the killer.

  • I guess you didn't understand what he meant about "physically interacting with a movie." Video games contain no physical interaction whatsoever.

  • It was a little too late to come out with this. But I cant wait till I can afford one.

  • the problem with this game is that they didn't capitolize on all the fun things about pinball, I.E. multiball loopdiloops, terminator 2 aim the gun and fire shoot here and here! see pinball is all about the gadgets and when you dumb it down to shooting 3d ships i'd rather just go play an arcade game.

  • not a revolutionary game, one of gomez's early games called Defender was more revolutionary than pin2000

  • bally makes alot more money making slot machines and could never please the stockholders with a losing pinball division. they should let the asians build cheap ones for the home market cause coin-op is dead!

  • "PinBall 2000 is here to stay"...

    :'(

  • looks boring

  • Cool video. The game plays very well but I don't like the 3d graphics and the screen.

  • Lordy! That's Ken Nordine doing the voice over.

  • I remember that machine ,it was next to the Star Wars Episode 1 pinball machine in the arcade at the Everett mall ,it was fun.

  • It came out and was popular among some collectors. Bally went out of business and Stern did not pick up the technology. So the design pretty much died.

  • What happened to this machine? did it actually come out?

  • yep. revenge of the mars and episode one was the last machine from bally and williams factory. :S
