Those of you arguing about a multiplayer are morons. The only tiype of multiplayer that makes sense is Batman and Catwomen playing at the same time in the challenge mode.(i forgot what it is really called)

They said they were looking at putting in some kind of co-op, maybe in story mode, maybe in challenge, but it just didn't work, and they decided to concentrate on what DID work better than divert attention to shoehorn in co-op for people
@w0bbl3r I don't think it would b too hard to let catwomen and batman beat people up together on a small map. They didn't do much for challenge mode tin the first one anyway. They even have races or time trials and two people can't do that. I' m not saying to make a complee multiplayer like Batman and robbers (just made that up). They could even add it as a dlc mode after that game is realeased like in Resident Evil 5 with Verus mode.

All of the good DC games (imo) have been Batman related. That hardly counts as all of the DC games being better than marvel games in general. The Superman game sucked. Meanwhile marvel has Ultimate Alliance1/2/pending3, Wolverine: Uncaged Edition, Hulk (forgot the name of the game), X-Men Legends, and at least 4 good spidey games. HOWEVER, this game looks pretty epic. My favorite marvel game is MUA2 and I think this could very well surpass that.

I'd like the introduction of other characters but Batman should remain the only playable character. Once you add in different playable characters you have to make those characters unique gameplay wise, and then it'll end up "I really liked the Batman missions, but the Robin missions were horrible" its best for a game developer to concentrate on one particular character especially since its a serious stealth/action 1 player game. Not an arcade coop beatem up.
Speculation as to how/why Arkham "moved" is moot. If you saw Warden Sharp's secret room then you'd know that he planned to expand Arkham into southern Gotham some time before the events of "Arkham Asylum" took place. It's entirely possible that Sharp (or the "Spirit of Arkham" alter-ego) let Joker's "escape" happen to keep Batman busy while he orchestrated the plan for Gotham from inside Arkham. No matter what the story is, I can't wait to play this new game!

actually the penguin and all those other villains were in the game its just that u didnt battle them, they had character bios and each bio had a track u could listen to and u heard some of the villains speaking... so they were in the game but they had no part in the story
In this level The Joker reminds me of Thre Hyena (Joker + Sabretooth, Amalgam universe) and I know it's possible to download armour for Batman meant to look like DarkClaw (Batman + Wolverine) so...

@TheHomieStyler mate im a marvel...but that batman game is sick. number 2 is gonna smash shit out of most games out there. I got the demo of that Wolverine game and its made me wanna go n buy it. It is much more brutal with out a doubt.
I was well bit pissed with the ultimate alliance 2 story tho. they shudda used the skrull invasion instead of that nano/crazy nick fury crap.

@daveypresh I got the superman game cause they showed the flyin part which was good but, they give u such a limited space to fly in. The combat was choppy and was just wrong. I want my money bck. Anyway I hate how they rolled bck on the story line. Especially for spiderman I hate that a lot. When is he ever gonna get to grow up? Marvel alliance 2 was ok but it could have been better. DC had a flash game in the wrks but it didn't happen, it looked cool tho. Anyway I cnt wait to play dc online.

@daveypresh One good movie can't hold up an entire studio, Green Lantern alone was a tremendous fail, along with last year's Jonah Hex. DC did give us another good movie at least, we can't forget Batman and Robin :D

I'd like the introduction of other characters but Batman should remain the only playable character. Once you add in different playable characters you have to make those characters unique gameplay wise, and then it'll end up "I really liked the Batman missions, but the Robin missions were horrible" its best for a game developer to concentrate on one particular character especially since its a serious stealth/action 1 player game. Not an arcade coop beatem up.

Speculation as to how/why Arkham "moved" is moot. If you saw Warden Sharp's secret room then you'd know that he planned to expand Arkham into southern Gotham some time before the events of "Arkham Asylum" took place. It's entirely possible that Sharp (or the "Spirit of Arkham" alter-ego) let Joker's "escape" happen to keep Batman busy while he orchestrated the plan for Gotham from inside Arkham. No matter what the story is, I can't wait to play this new game!

KINDA like @217rambo idea on robin should be kidnapped, i think maybe like gordon should be trapped again, or knightwing, and batman and robin have to save him... now i think once u do, u should get to play as all three and stephanie brown's batgirl as a bonus after beating the game and beat some other enemies, and get joker..

actually the penguin and all those other villains were in the game its just that u didnt battle them, they had character bios and each bio had a track u could listen to and u heard some of the villains speaking... so they were in the game but they had no part in the story

In this level The Joker reminds me of Thre Hyena (Joker + Sabretooth, Amalgam universe) and I know it's possible to download armour for Batman meant to look like DarkClaw (Batman + Wolverine) so...
