I'm looking on the Dell website and I was wondering.... From these two, which is better (performance wise/multi-tasking wise):

AMD Athlon™ II X2 P360 (2.3GHz/1MB cache)

AMD Phenom™ II X4 P960 (1.8GHz/2MB cache)

@krunkermedia. Adjust your overscan and that will remove the black boarder around the edges of the screen. They are really hidden in ATI's interface though. But it is there.

hey, nice video, but next time, I'd suggest turning off auto focus on the camera and using the manual focus to avoid bits of un focused video, such as at 2:05 heh.

What the fuck? so why doesn't dell currently have the dual-core option,w ith a discrete 4330 radeon and 4GB DDR2 or DDR3 for that matter, or 2GB FOR 699$. this isn't doing much better then the new mac mini AT ALL, then the previous zino models would of, with the dual cores, and dedicated graphics.

geforce 320M versus 4330, i wonder, if the 320M is 512 dedi or 256MB dedi.

should just get a mac mini and boot a windows on it, rofl.

Great video on Zino HD, I have a few question, Have you had a chance to upgrade the internal HDD & RAM on the Zino? Does it use the standard 3.5" SATA drive? I was wondering if its easy to upgrade the ZinoHD. I'm thinking of purchsing one w/ Low/Mid RAM and HDD then upgrade them later on.

Mac Mini has true 1080p out through the Mini DisplayPort and a optical mini audio port for full surround sound. You can have browser video playback in 1080p or iTunes HD video and audio. The only lag is the speed of the internet connection.

This is choppy because Windows 7 depends on hardware compared to OS X. Before anyone comments with a negative post, KNOW YOUR PRODUCT.

@EDMStitchy Mac mini is nice little computer but is a crappy media center box. Zino has a better video card but crappy cpu. I end up building a box. I use win7 box with core2, 4gb, 4650,6tb hd, ati cable tuner, netflix, boxee, hulu and second run tv integrated in media center. Only problem is itunes. It does not want to intergrate into media center. Hoping that apple will add hdmi on next version. Noone wants more cables.

Great Video. I believe that below screen sizes of 50", Unless sitting very close, very few people can tell the difference between 720p and 1080p . Does anyone agree. Looks like a cool little PC. Sam's Club has these w/ a 19" LCD for 499 i believe. Thanks again.

The hardware (even in other computers) is good, excellent or weak it depends the applicationss and use. A lot of users find Dell Zino excellent and enough for some purposes.. some others will find this like a shit.. PLEASE consider the use and apps you will run :)

whats a point of having a HTPC that cant handle 1080p(sluggish means it cant handle it!) I just don't get that. with that price you can get POPBOX or BOXEE that certainly can handle 1080p,flash and all that good stuff. sure, it doesnt come with hard drive or burner but most people use home pc to grab HD contents anyhow. but great review man! I now know whats Zino HD is all about..

Hey,

i don't have a Zeno, but i had a similar issue of Screen-fill with my HT set up.

Downloaded the newest catalyst control center, and used the "overscan" feature of the card to fill the screen properly. Don't know if you tried that.

@jebotijamater12345 You know - I tried the latest catalyst drivers but I ended up getting stuttering playback for HD content under Windows Media Center - almost as if video wasn't being hardware accelerated anymore. I honestly haven't tried it since but one of these days I hope to revisit this.

@kevenzz it makes doing any media on the computer smoother. for example: streaming videos on hulu. especially if you're connecting it to HD TV

@ilovemaryam08 yes, I guess you could say I was a cheapo. My goal was to see what kind of performance I could get from as low as a price as possible. Mind you I did upgrade to the highest end dual core processor available on the Zino HD. If I were to have gotten a discrete graphics solution, the overall system price would have gotten to a point where one would seriously consider other competing alternatives (of course the form factor is something to consider too if that's your thing).

Good demo. Can you please list system specs. I think you should try the PC input on your samsung tv to get rid of the black lines. I am not sure but some tvs just like vga input from a pc. Did you upgrade the video card?
