And this .dll hell, I have never in my life had a problem with .dll files. Even if there may be a 'Ton' of them, they aren't sitting all over the desktop. And locking up programs don't always require a reboot. Hardly ever. Maybe 1% of the time (in my case.) But I have heard the same for Mac users as well.

I do not claim PCs are perfect, by any means. But could you be more specific on what makes a Mac 'better'? Software and Games are more of a personal preference. It cannot make a computer better or worse. Hardware wise, Intel makes processors for both Macs and PCs. The look and feel of the operating system is also personal preference. Some people prefer to use a command line to navigate folders, while others like a graphical interface.

Macs are not inherently better. CPU, GPU, mobo, ram, etc. It's all the same. You pay for what you get. You might want to spend more money on how the device looks and that's fine. You can have your pretty mac, that's wonderful. I, personally, would rather spend the money on how the device runs. That's personal preference.

You can build a PC with any combination of graphics cards and ram. My friend recently bought the parts for a custom PC. He made it himself. It has two graphics cards (the best on public sale at the time), 2 processors (each dual core 2.8 GHz,) 8 GB's of ram, and two one terabyte hard drives. This all cost around $3000-$4000 dollars. He looked at Macs and an equally spec'd Mac cost over $10,000.

Gaming as been the main reason for the huge strides in PC technology. Before Wolfstein came out, people didn't need a good video card, they didn't need alot of RAM. When that game came out and more to follow it, Video cards and RAM made huge leaps in technology. Heat sinks as well, due to new processors, video cards and RAM were needed, better power supplies were needed.

Frankly if gaming wasn't the main pusher of technology for a PC, I highly doubt any computer would have more than a gig of RAM, and that's for Vista. On XP you could run it on 256. A computer would never have more than 2 fans, liquid cooling would be nonexistent, 2/3 of the currently made video cards (basically anything not mid - low to budget video cards) would likely not exist. Seriously your ignorance on PC's is fucking astounding.
