both are swiss made chronometers. having owned both, i can say they're RELATIVELY equally good at keeping time. there is no SIGNIFCANT difference in performance between them.

Omega are better than Rolex? Omega uses a lower quality steel than Rolex, the Omega date takes 30 minutes to change where on the Rolex its instant at midnight, Omega still uses pinn's in the links, resale value on Omega watche's is very low. What part of Omega did you mean when you said they are better than Rolex?

Um... there really isn't a difference between 904L and 304L. Both are low carbon high chromium steels. And you're going to complain about how fast the date switches over? Different movements mean different actions. Personal preference.
