The second part with the objective of securing the AA gun that is. First half is a walk in the park if you advance quickly enough. Basically just run through on the left side until you're at the last cover spot before the mounted gun. This works on veteran and elite with some luck.

I had no probs with this part on recruit (easy) or trooper (normal) but veteran and elite were darn near impossible. And yes it's way too dark.

1st Pers Shooters should be all about getting up close & personal,putting a shotgun blast right in some dude's face &watching his blood splatter.Thats what makes them fun, not engaging some guy who is 120 yards away &looking down a scope for 7 minutes as you try to take a quick shot at the little black dot that's supposed to represent the guy's head peeking out from behind cover. FEAR had smart enemy A.I. & it was challenging, yet it kept the action up close & personal & visceral, so it rocked.

Modern day game makers just don't get it. There's nothing FUN about hiding behind a wall,& having to pop your head out for a second while looking down a tiny scope at a guy who pokes his tiny head out from behind a barrier, then fire a 4 shot burst and reload your gun, rinse and repeat for 10 minutes until you've cleared out an area. THAT IS NOT FUN. And yet I've played so many games like this lately (Battlefield Bad Company). Games like Halo get FPS right, no matter what its critics say.
