in the original script, he died but this movie came out shortly after the cartoon transformers movie and when they killed off optimus prime, the fans went crazy so in this one the director had to add the lines of he's in a coma!
yes and those 4 lines totally ruin the movie... the story is about a spoiled brat who only matures when his big bro dies... and the changes totally ruin that.
When I saw Duke a.k.a. Conrad Hauser took the sacrifice of Serpentor's serpent stick for Falcon, although it is only a cartoon, it made me mad inside. Duke was definitely one of my favorite GI Joes back them. This was a heartwarming moment for Duke falling into a coma in front of Scarlett, Hawk, Falcon, and the rest of the GI Joe team.
Coma, no ,dead I'm afraid.
