You know he is really funny, but I don't get the singing...I don't think his voice is really very good. No one ever talks about Robert Beltran's singing and I just listened to him singing Emily and he actually has a beautiful voice. Go figure.
::scratches head:: Eh, I think they could have characterized a little bit more. The Vulcan lady (T'pol? I can't spell) was really the best and most developed character, the others just seemed...flat. 'specially the captain...
I liked the premises of most of the episodes, though...
T'Pol was indeed written very well, but I also think Archer was written well. His development from a do-good and very good vs. evil character to a morally ambivalent character that realised he would have to do 'wrong' in order to prevent worse was quite nicely implemented in my eyes. All other Star Trek captains were unusually good, flawless people, Archer was a realistic human character with many flaws. The other chars didn; t have time to develop because of the cancelation of the series.
Im 14 and im a HUGE fan=) I wish people would recognise the vastness of this fanbase....Anyways, it is amazing and i thank everything that made this franchise the way it is today^_^
It makes me so happy to hear that there's other youngsters really into Trek. (I'm 23, been watching since I was 9.) Defy the cynics who say we're all old losers living in our parents' basements!! If they only knew the variety in this fan base....
Although I cheat on you with Stargate. So true. So true. :P Tune into SciFi Fridays at 10 to see Robert Picardo as the new leader of the Atlantis Expedition.
Yay, its nice to know that really young people are still getting into it. I'm nearly 24 and I was 4/5 yrs old when The Next Generation started. Loved it. Loved the movies and TOS. Grew to love Deep Space Nine and Voyager... not sure about Enterprise :p
I adore this song! I've tried to quit. Once got rid of all my TOS novelizations, and today I regret it. Been a fan since 1966. Loved the TOS movies, plus First Contact was amazing. Got renewed interest with Voyager. I think I'm here for the duration, whether ya'all like it or not. So, I expect I'll be sitting in the old folks home, talking to Romulans and Holograms and scaring the nurses. See ya then!
i saw him playing richard woolsey on stargate atlantis last night... yea, he played a better charactor on voyager than in stargate.... and he was A HOLOGRAM!!!! lol....
HAHAHA! "Please be my loyal stardate even though I'll cheat on you with Stargate" ROFL It's been so funny to see Bob Piccardo in Stargate because I grew up watching all 7 years of Star-Trek Voyager (and recorded EVERY EPISODE too I was addicted lol I still have a few episodes on tape from recording on my VCR and I still use that VCR to record Stargate when I'm not able to watch lol) I prefer Doc to Woolsey hands down! Woolsey is a character we love to HATE lol
" I prefer Doc to Woolsey hands down! Woolsey is a character we love to HATE lol"
yea... the doc was a good charactor, but woolsey is, well, hmmm.... whats the word im looking for.... annoying? hmmm... idk.... either way, the doc was better than woolsey...

Its the fans who ruined the franchise, or at least not Enterprise, because that was one of the best if not the best series of Star Trek.
