I'm have to say that there various are errors in this Gong. For a start, the very first posture is wrong - in fact it is the opening for Triple Spiraling Gong, not Soft Palm.
Surely you realize there are many interpretations of any established Qigong system. The video above is the best approximation of Soft Palms as I learned it from Paul Li. Others show it differently. I went to your video of the First 64 and saw many differences from how I learned it from Paul. I first learned the First 64 from Michael Tse and have seen several other teachers' versions of it. In Qigong and it isn't so much the exact ways moves are done, but how well they follow principles.
I have only seem GM Yang Mei Jun does the Soft Palm and you performance is very impressive. The way you move is very much like her. Can I have Dr.Li website.? - thks.
Thank you for the feedback. I am making progress on my Wild Goose and the Soft Palm set is done as close to how I remember Dr. Paul Li doing it as I can. It is good to know his version is close to the great Yang Mei Jun. His form, by the way, is about 5 times as crisp and flowing as mine is, as of yet.
He does not have a website, unfortunately. He keeps a low profile in his office in Chinatown, San Francisco.
@RobertBBatesDC - If you are progressing as you are now, one day you will be representing the School of Kunlun Qigong in SFO, maybe even the West Coast of USA.
If anyone want to learn it in your area, I definitely point them your way. BTW, may I know the age of Dr.Li ? Most time those who keep a low profile are the one we should seek guidance and learn from. Like they said , you can tell how good the teacher is from their student. Once again, love your Soft Palm. - thks.
