While Danica may never become one of the truly great drivers of all time, she has officially joined the short list of drivers who have won at least once in their career. That will not change, no matter how much anyone doesn't like it. She's a winner, and trust me, she'll do it again someday.
How does that win change the perception that she is slow? She was running 6th for most of the race and won because of good strategy by her crew chief. Absolutely nothing to do with her speed.
I would like to start by telling you that I am male, and have been watching racing of all forms for 20 years.
My official take on Danica is that she's been fast enough to lead multiple times in multiple races, just not so much that day. Winning by any means is still winning. If any of the "boys" goes out there and wins on fuel mileage, it's accepted. Heaven forbid Danica does the same thing. Besides, how many cars raced that race? She was faster than 2/3 of the field while running 6th.
You can also hear the blowout in the video. It is immediately clear the tire blew out (dankster25 is absolutely right). Guys, don't know if it is rocket science to pay attention to the science or details of the video you watch, but try a little harder.

I'm not all crash... all I'm saying is that the last time a pace car was involved in a wreck was at the indy 500 in 1971. I don't like crashes that much... but it's a rare sight, when it involves the pace car. I like nascar and Indycar. If I didn't like the race aspect, i'd probably stick to the derby...

Honestly she has a world of racing to learn, if she's done decently in the past its just a poor report on her competition. She's DANGEROUS plain and simple, to see a car get away from someone like that is not a good sign at all. If she's not spinning coming in, she's losing it going out and nearly wiping out other teams. I could smoke her ugly little ass with 3 wheels one hand and one eye..She's creepy too..Jealous? Just ill to see someone with so little talent wasting money...I'm right here!!

I would like to start by telling you that I am male, and have been watching racing of all forms for 20 years.
My official take on Danica is that she's been fast enough to lead multiple times in multiple races, just not so much that day. Winning by any means is still winning. If any of the "boys" goes out there and wins on fuel mileage, it's accepted. Heaven forbid Danica does the same thing. Besides, how many cars raced that race? She was faster than 2/3 of the field while running 6th.
