Ok the planet is a rock that is balanced by electromagnitism and magma flow. My argument is against ppl that say the planet will die from our devistation. This is a fable. Our planet will die if: a) there is a large enough impact to decimate it or send it into the sun, b) the magma flow halts entirely and its orbit is thrown out of whack, or c) the moon's constant course away rebounds and sends it into earth. That or some scifi shit. thats all, PERIOD, that will kill our planet.

Which is a good point. A lot of Historians agree that they myans were astronomicaly genius. They had advanced knowledge of the stars prior and in more completeness than the greeks and the romans put together. But perhaps they knew that the calendar would change after 2012 and decided not to waste time configuring another one. It'll die when the atmosphere leaves the earth causing the oceans to evaporate. That'll make it inhospitable. But before that, we will have run out of resources and we'll die of hunger.
