No. .hack//G.U. takes place after Haseo loses to "tri-edge" in episode 26 of //roots which is the last episode. .hack//G.U. is all the good stuff, all the events that take place after.
i heard from raincloud0 that their gonna make an actual game like hack he said it'll be called .Hack the new beginning in 2011 does anyone know if thats true
.hack fragment? that came out before gu and for japan. It was where you created your own chareecters and could make freinds with Kite (kite kite) and took place before the gay shygo and after .hack//Quarintine
And it was canceled because it just couldn't sustain a community. It was supposed to come out to America for the PC and PS3 like late last year but a year ago around this time they decided to scrap the whole project. Now we gotta wait for 2016 to see if that The World:R2 is true or not.
