Renovated rooms were available in Nov and this is a standard old room so unless you preferred staying in the SPA Tower with a closer walk to the spa and long walk to the casino, then it unfortunately wasn't an upgrade. Also, Wifi is part of your resort fee so unless you were comped your resort free, wifi wasn't free.
Personally, I think Bellagio rooms are overrated for a 5-star hotel. For the same price, Aria, Cosmo, Wynn, Venetian have superior rooms.
