i had a mofo for a year running a hifonics amp 1600 watt rms and i couldnt take the power. I agree new ones were done cheap! The old mofo's were beast! I'd have to say im happy with my JL W6 12. It sounds much cleaner and hit every note more crisp.
MOFO just doesnt fit the new ones. The old ones were just bad ass looking and actually came in a bad ass case. Sadly I bought some Volfenhags instead.
isnt that psi woofer better than that mofo? And you know the new mofo were u cant see the magnet and has a plastic bottom is the new one better than the old one?
its the original mofo. The good one lol. For some reason PA went really cheap with the new MOFO 122X, it looks garbage and from what I have heard, sounds like garbage as well...still not a bad sub for the price but those original MOFO's are sick.
@2treo15 Man, I always wanted a couple of the old ones. I saw a few on ebay brand new for 145 a piece!! i was soooooo tempted lol, but I just got my W6's in August.
@jameswoodsist i dont know why he said it was only cosmetic... if you paint it and get it sanded down really smooth the air flows out better with less friction... meaning louder :)
Love the background music soooo slowed. And I remember when MOFOS / FUBARS use to be the sub to get back in highschool (loud and cheap) But remember the " Fake " Mofos !
