  • I have an FZ1, and I will keep it, its the best looking bike from that bunch, the gsf does not look to hot, it needs a re-style

  • Why bother scraping the panniers in the corners? It's like watching your dad body popping.

  • dont know why the pricing is so much different from here in the US as the fz1 is $1300 cheaper than the gsx1250 as they are both imported from japan in both places. and as for the most bonkers, The FZ1 for sure 150hp with a cylinder balance and a 5 valve genesis motor... yeah buddy take it over the suzuki any day

  • How boring!!!

  • haha knee dragging the cbf 1000 is like putting your wing down on a commercial plane

  • VFR has ABS, semi-automatic/automatic transmission with buttons, cardan transmission with easy access to wheel and comfort.

And the review should have a detailed feature matrix for comparsion.

I say this review is BS.

  • I hope that most of you guys are not from the U.K. because your English really stinks.

  • yamaha <3

  • BUT THE GSX1250F LOOKS SHIT "BUT NOT AS BAD AS THE HONDA VFR1200" THE BEST BET IS TO BUY A Z1000SX ??

  • just purchased another first gen fz1. screw it.

  • MCN: Sponsored by SUZUKI

  • nice test,pfffff

they got a fixed mind on the suzuki ,no doubt about it

Suzuki more fun in the fun twisties???? Yes its a joke, aahahahaha

Hey how about the fuel consumption , you dont mention that do you???

you need a petrol station following you around ahahahaha

  • @xrispan whot is under 6litres per 100kms lot? O_o

  • Great review, but I'm still geting the CBF

  • Great review, but I'm still geting the CBF

  • everybody needs to find the best bike for oneself - there is no "best" bike for all

  • Lots of going around corners, very little showing each individual bike. I am disappoint.

  • Don't care what he says I love my VFR1200 it is amazing

  • great review!

  • I'd rather pay more money to get a bike I LOVE riding (VFR), than go the cheap option for a bike that I only like riding...

  • Suzuki GSX1250FA and Honda CBF1000GT are squarely targeted at one another and the Suzuki does emerge as the segment leader. But neither the VFR nor the Fazer FZ1 is in the same market space as the GSXFA.The VFR1200 would find a more worthy competitor in the Suzuki Hayabusa and the Fazer FZ1 in the Z1000SX from Kawasaki.

  • I want that ticket! Give me give me give me!!! 1250FA rules!!

  • He needs to speak a bit faster, I could very nearly understand what he was saying.

  • @gronno -- You're right--bloody irritating.

  • I wonder how the Blackbird would compare? Not exactly a pretty bike but far better looking than that fugly vfr. I was hoping Honda would come up with a much better machine to replace it.

  • VFR1200 for me!

  • This bike has lots of torque down low so if you short shift and get to top quickly and cruise at about 80km/h, you'll get really good fuel mileage perhaps 45 mpg or even more. Suzuki tested this in Japan and they claim 24km/L cruising in top gear at 60km/h which is believable. Once you start twisting your right wrist....forget about it!

  • i vote for gsx 1250 fa :D

  • The ZX12 would smash all of these bikes but, I'd take the VRF12 over these other bikes for sure. Looks better and its faster.

  • you crazy nutters, riding on the wrong side of the road and such.....

  • @crashedupderby lol!!

  • It's seems MCN puts the Suzuki Bandit far more superior than the rest. But then, who wouldn't. Brilliant engine, powerful torque, Bullet proof chassis, perfect pricing.

    - hydraulic clutch

    - ABS as standard

  • Thanks mister. I appreciate the feedback :)

  • SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION: Do they make the Suzuki Bandit GSX 1250 in America? And if so... How much does it cost?

  • @mznunaya Quick answer: no

You have to choose either the GSX 650 F in the sport category or the Bandit 1250S in the standard category.

Your only other inline-four options are the Hayabusa, the GSX-R line and the B-King.

  • @mznunaya GSX 650 F : MSRP $7,899

    Bandit 1250 S: MSRP $9,299

  • Why u guys all want to give him a shit? He's recorded this video and spent his time 4 it so instead of give him a shit thanks him. All the bikes there were better than Suzuki but he owns a Suzuki so at least he's to find a reason even poor to say Suzuki exist. Don't you agree?

  • @siamakmkh

It's about value ,what you got for you money, yes Suzuki maybe is oldest bike, if you buy Bandit, you still has solid all round'er ,end still has money to bay one more bike of 250cc for city, yes,Honda VFR for sure is much high'er quality of made, but CBF 1000 is very similar quality, but suzuki was smoother end little beat sharp'er in cornering, but for 2000 more for CBF is weist of money...end be a live me ,Suzuki is best bay for shore, for given money.

  • Fuel consumtion is a real issue with bikes , why is it SO poor ?. My wife has just bought a Citroen C2 diesel... 4 seats..75 bhp ... cruise at 90mph + all day ..67 mpg . These bikes less than 40 ?????

When are bikers going to demand action on MPG.

P.S I am a biker myself and sick of crap fuel consumtion.

  • Yeah, they are real drinkers, i own a '08 fz1 and cruising betwen 80 - 110 mph it makes about 55 mpg, but it has almost 150 bhp!!, so you can't compare your wife's C2 with a liter bike in fuel consumption, and of course you can't compare their fun factor.

  • @thedavejayshow

Who the hell buys a sportbike for fuel consumption???

  • Nice comparison. I like the tournament style of comparing the bikes.

  • Triumph Sprint ST missing from the test, and some BMW also.

But I guess that the best value for money will still be on Suzuki side.

  • my mate bought a new fz 1. I have a carberated 2002 model . his guzzles fuel like theres no tomorrow especially in town. We had a burn up and not much in it.

I rode his he rode mine and the new one is uncomfortable as hell. no good for distance and the rear seat is shit.

Get an older fz and you will love it . done 95k on mine , sweet as.

  • Why don't you compare some non Japanese bikes too? It's always the same 4 Japanese manufacturers!

  • The bonkers joke is growing old

  • Good review. Or should I say bonkers review? Thanks for slowing down and for posting.

  • great review, by far one of the best.

  • O, wow. just now got the new layout...

  • B O N K E R S ! ! !

  • Yes, yes, yes, but which bike is the most bonkers???

  • @UltraSWG the fazer

  • Where is this?

  • why are bikes in englnd three times cheaper than australia there's only 20 cents different in the dollar and somtimes less..anyone know??

  • @DemonCovenant

    Import tax?

Bikes in the US are also quite a bit cheaper than in the NL. It sucks :).

  • @DemonCovenant Australian import taxes are HUGE, that's why.

  • good quality vid guys, thanks.

  • 37MPG is a bit poor isnt it considering petrol will be £1.50 a litre soon, motorbike manufacturers need to start making bikes more fuel efficient, otherwise their customers will go elsewhere . low MPG is fine on sportsbikes like the R1 , but on a touring commuting bike, it is horrendous

  • @Buttmunch5000 This is a 1250 so don't expect as good fuel efficiency as say a 650, I think you are right in the fact that its poor for a touring bike, but this is a big beefy one for the people who can afford the fuel.

  • @Buttmunch5000 Good point, but we dont want the fun taken out of bikes, just like what they have done to cars :/

  • @L4Isoside to my knowledge there are alot of fun cars out there, my point that for a touring bike 37MPG is pretty dire considering it doesnt have a massive top speed or acceleration compared to say a ZZR1400.

probably the most fun bike ever has brilliant MPG, the Yamaha RXS100 for the smiles per mile it is unbeaten!

  • @Buttmunch5000 Haha yeah.

Well i do agree that the mpg is pretty poor, alot of cars that beat that are generally boring (petrol anyway)

Whats worse is that its estimated by the end of the year fuel is going to hit £2 a litre! :O (i believe)

  • @Buttmunch5000

How much fuel efficiency on GSX650F compare to 37mpg? Would the GSX650F perform as well for the purpose of sport touring?

  • @htse009 the GSX650F has a claimed 43mpg

Search for GSX650 GT to see a sport touring version customized by a dealer.

  • The GSX1250F is a nice looking bike.

  • what does he say at @2:24?

  • Good review

  • Good review =]

  • Very nice review, thanks so much !

  • Ye definitely BONKERS!!!
