Could very well be - 3D support was at the early stages when I made the video (2 years ago). Todays Virtual machine-solutions are much faster and most modern day cpus support hardware virtualization creating an even faster performance.
Parallels on Mac
VMWare on Windows are prime examples that today will give a more solid performance. I'm able to play Geometry Wars at full speed on a 2.4Ghz Core2Duo on Parallels running Windows7 within a Virtual machine on Snow Leopard.
I tried but i get an error saying i dont have the minimum specs, i have the extra 3 lines included in my vmx file. Whats the trick? I even tried using 3danalyze to hide the defualt gfx card
