Island of the Dead Dolls

I've been here before!

It's in Mexico, I can't remember what river it's called. But you have to go there by boat. There's a bunch of tour boats you can get on, they can take you here but you have to stay at a distance because you can't touch any of the dolls. It's pretty cool!

it would be very scary to stay there for a night i cant belive the guy who lives on the island thinks the dolls are comforting for him even if they have no legs or arms o.o i give u a 10/10

If you meant the hermit, he died a while back, and his son looks after the island, but doesnt live there anymore xP

His daughter died in the cannal she drown. The dolls are a shrine to her. The island is said to be haunted because he had a strong emotional attatchment to his daughter and the dolls themselves. He drown in the cannal many years later. Tragic. And creepy. A great base for a horror movie.

Stop on the picture at :41 seconds and put it on full screen. Look right behind the doll in the lower center of the screen. It looks to me like there is an apparition of a man standing back behind it with a girl peeking around his arm. I also noticed that the matrixing effect is amazing. As I scanned around the trees, etc, it looks like there are faces everywhere. This story was just on Destination Truth. It is a CREEEEPPPPPY place!
