Even IF the tape came loose which theres more chance of the kid spontaneously combusting, it's still just a baby freshy. That thing is more afraid of those kids then they are of it. The biggest thing that croc will feed on is a fish the size of your hand.
Though it looked like the croc was chasing the kids with the photography it was really running away from the people holding it. The only way they would get bitten is if the they tried to mess with it

It's mouth is taped with duck tape.
