Thank you very much for your inspiring comment. Indeed, the youth in Guadeloupe and the Caribbean as a whole are not being told anything of their African ancestry and bondage. We have to do it now ourselves and do not let this task to remain in the hands of the colonialists . I have not yet been in West Africa but will hope to do so soon this year.

eugene, i think yhis great, I would just like to know if the youth of Guadeloupe ,just like there brothesr in the U.S.A, are taught anything about Africa, I see alot of the drums in Guada carnivasl are African drums, and have you visited west Africa?
