Went down to Aja three times while I was there. The first two times was super freakin' fun. Didn't participate, just watched. Good Times. The last time, they ahd put up barriers to keep the drifters from doing their thing.

I remember this. My buddy recked his R32 on that corner. Right outside kinser in the industrial park. Freakin awesome. When I was there they didnt have the patch though.

Yeah, they tried all sorts of tricks to stop the drifting. This was just another attempt at that.

Yeah the Police come in everyone leaves for 20 minutes then we all come back until around 4 in the morning. And thats not a huge piece of pavement thats just a cross walk. Aja port at Friday nights gets really crowded. That when most of the badass drifters in Okinawa show of their skillz. The whole square block is one contineuous cars drifting. It's an amazing site indeed. The JP (Japanese Police) knows friday night is the main attraction but they are cool enough to let us drift for while before breaking it up.

When I was in Okinawa, drag racing was huge, too. I've always been into drag racing, and don't care for drifting beyond watching it.
