Not all atheists are science-based. The big bang sounds like creation to me. The big bang does not equal zero gods. Atheists have only one thing in common. I don't need science to dismiss all the gods man has created. Jesus appears as mythical as any other god/creation story. I don't know of our origins, but there are no gods. Catholics believe in evolution. Evolution does not mean zero gods. If science is wrong that does not proof creation or the existence of gods. Sorry, I only go to 9 mins.

I think its good that you are thinking about these things and you should not cease to keep self-educating yourself on these topics. my personal opinion of order, at least in the way you use it, is it all stems from our want and pain. our fear drives us to establishing order; a catalyst of sorts. it's what makes the use of fear so effective in politics.. and established religion. people get scared and conform. =/
You can find a starting point for the proof of evolution on Youtube, you'll just have to look up the findings they cite. If you don't understand why a scientific explanation outweighs something found in the Bible or that Christianity is believed by Christians, you should probably bow out of the discussion.
Atheism doesn't require an explanation for anything. I don't know how Etch-a-sketches are made, that doesn't mean I entertain the idea that fairies did it.
Evolution is a fact, it is observable, we can use it to develop medicines, modify foods and make predictions. Religion can not make such assertions.
The big difference is that evolution does not require man,and predates religion by 4 billion years. Religion can not exist without man and is based on geography not truth.
You clearly misunderstand how science works it is not driven by mythology but by an explanation of the observable facts. Science changes with the facts religion does not.
